I read this and it makes me very sad. Two LEO killed and 2 injured. I read this and have to wonder, were there some tactical errors by the responding officers. Not cutting this person any slack at all. He shot at and killed two cop shot at and injured a cop and a K-9, but it seems to me like a little more planning on the approach to the guy may have been in order.

The officer was speaking to a resident about an apparent domestic dispute when a man with a gun emerged from the home.
“The male opened fire on the officer, striking and killing the officer,” Reyes said.
A second officer responding to the home was “immediately fired upon” and also killed. The names of the two deceased officers have not yet been released.
It wasn’t but it seemed like an ambush.

once he’s healed enough to stand trial, he should explain why he did it,… then be strung up out front publicly.

I’m in my late seventies and it sure seems to me that in the past fifteen years or so you hear a lot more about officers being wounded or killed than you ever did before.
A sad state of affairs for the country.

I have gotten American Flag deals through the American Legion and bought them from big box stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, a local Army Surplus store, and a couple from online vendors over the years.
You would due well to be choosy as some don’t last as well as others.
The best for me has been the ones that the American Legion sells to its members

I always have a pair of left and right flags on the truck. I had them on the boat as well. I’ve tried many over the years, and all last about 2 years or so in the Florida sun. I get mine on Amazon these days and replace them every year or so to not have faded flags. I scan the parking lot for the CB antenna sticking up, and the faded paint of my old truck top above the Lexuses and Audis.
My truck was made in this country, but so long ago that the factory that built it is a faded memory.
