Texas is so big there is no need to leave! So, I guess you could say we are staying local.
We do have a road trip soon to OK, as we are in a Will Reading. But OK is ok when it comes to cross boarder carry.
Before this, we NEVER went to or through states without full reciprocity. Thus, Canada has been removed from our “ever travel to” list. Sad, as we honeymooned there 312 years ago.

Mike i have a FIAT brother I know what its like to have gas brother.
Unfortunately if I make a road trip back to see family I am not legally allowed to carry. My CCW does not reciprocate with Jersey… Then again no state does. Also my hollow point ammo and magazine size is illegal there. I can carry in 35+ states with my instate and out of state permits, Jersey isn’t one of them. Only the criminals are allowed to have guns there
Our vacation is still on. We will head to Atlantic City NJ. I know I can’t take my gun there…
We might be going to Georgia to see my in-laws. From Ohio to Georgia it’s smooth reciprocity sailing.

When I have traveled into the socialist Republic of Canada, I have located gun stores near my point of entry and left my firearms with them while across the border. Spartan Arms in Bellingham when going to Vancouver.
