This Friday, the 13th, I am taking the 4 hour class to renew my license. Going to avoid black cats, ladders, stepping on sidewalk cracks, etc… Going to take a backup pistol in case my front sights fall off or some other malfunction.
Good luck Brother… Maybe you should take the whole Rabbit.
Good luck I’ll keep my fingers crossed .
Wishing you nothing but the best and all bulleyes/10’s.
I’ve been told to ensure at least one flyer… not sure about in IL though
Shall be praying for grace and passing while being the greyman in the class which does not raise any thoughts or concerns.
Try not to get shot in the back, or stabbed. It’s Illinois, anything is possible.
Considering that it’s at 5 Star and everyone is armed, including the staff, is armed so I think I will pretty safe. Biggest challenge will be staying awake.
Best of luck, brother
@Fred30 Friday is a Good Day!! Take your class, and when it’s Range time, when you got your SIGHTS ON TARGET (target the 13th), send that baby down range (BANG) and put it to sleep, get your passing grade, DONE!! YOU GOT THIS!!!
Good luck !
In Illinois it does not matter what caliber you use and shot placement doesn’t really matter,
You’ll breeze right through it. Other than the classroom refresher, it’s another day at the range my brother!
I went for my renewal a couple of months ago. Since it assumes one is slightly more experienced, most of the class was talking about slightly more advanced strategies then the pre-CCW class, and over some of the laws that passed since the last class. Other than the plugs for CCW insurance, it was actually enjoyable.
Don’t forget to go to the IL state police website to update the class completion (the instructor should go over it with you).
