Polymer 80 raided

I believe most pistol braces are purchased thru distribution, both on-line and local stores. In other words, not too many direct sales to customers from SB Tactical.

This is just the beginning. A test. If it works do you think any of your weapons are safe?

So far all the accounts I have heard of the 80% owner surrendered the kit to the ATF? Has anyone called their bluff to see if a judge would sign a warrant to raid citizens house for a legally purchased 80% kit?

I don’t know if the situations are similar, but a small ammo company called “Elite Ammunition” had a similar occurence years ago. It was for their all copper bullets. IIRC, they took his records and tracked down customers.

The ATF should be dissolved.
Year after year they overstepped their Authority.

New news to me from link above, looks like they are going after distributers:

"Contacts at Brownells.com confirmed that ATF also showed up at the Brownells Iowa office, and other retailers, demanding customer information.

Brownells told the single ATF agent that visited them that although the company still proudly sells Polymer80 frames that it did not sell the “Buy, Build, Shoot” kits and therefore would not turn over any customer records. The lone agent left without obtaining a single document."

P80 refused but ATF went to credit card companies that p80 uses for customer purchase did hand over there records and then ran names against the ncis system to see who infact bought one of these kits that could not possibly pass a nics background

The ATF was originally the Bureau of Alcohol that was struck down by the Supreme Court in the fifty States during prohibition and was shelved only to return later in the current form. Any person working for them it is safe to say is a tyrant in disguise.
