Not directly related to 2A or Concealed Carry, but I know the National Guard has been of interest to this community, especially as it relates to a “well-regulated militia.”
A NG request was finally denied. And good for them, too. Over the past couple of years, I think they’ve been abused. They are a contingency reserve, not an operational force to bail out people who make bad decisions. I hope we see more of this.

The DOD isn’t flipping the Bill for the Texas Natinal Guard response on the Rio Grande.
I don’t think the DOD should bankroll a call up in DC or NY either, if that’s how they want to play.
Let DC and NY pay their own way like Texas is forced to do.
