I’ve lived a good life, I’m prepared to meet my maker, if it means a better life for my Grandkids

I’ve said it on here before, I’m closer to the end than the beginning. I’m more concerned about what my grandbabies will have in the future than what I have right this second

Mike and Eugene,

I agree with the both of you.
I’ve lived a good life (still not ready to cash in my chips, Phuck these Insects!)
But, if I can go out leaving the world a better place for YOUR Grand kids and Children in general
that is icing on a very interesting life.

No Worries, No regrets, who wants my jaguar?

So the corrupt AG is allowed to get away with her corrupt actions and literally stealing money from Trump, but those who do not support her actions will be penalized America better start voting Repub / Conservative, as we are very near the end of a legitimate legal system, and much closer to the end of free speech thanks to democrats.

Re education camps? Put republicans in prison? This country is rapidly becoming a place I do not recognize. The sad part is our elected representatives may say they are on our side, but none of these people saying this will have any consequences at all. This is Anti Republic, Anti Democratic and I dare say the behavior of stalin, lenin, hitler and many other dictators. It all starts with words. These people are actually guilty of treason.

Man, I look a what homes are going for in general these days. I don’t think many in my young adult days could touch that either. How are people doing it these days is my question? Got me wondering what the median income is. I don’t know many now who could afford a300 K home. Have the best of days brother and yes keep that head on a swivel Hooah! :us:

The People coming into New Mexico are fleeing Commiefornia!
They sell their homes for $1-2 MILLION and they can get a Brand spanking new home
w/ all the sand they can eat when the wind blows because they just level off a section of pristine Mesa and build a cinder block wall around the property and wall-la New Community
Unfortunately, you don’t get much land around it IT’S ALL HOUSE! People that are use to having @ least an acre are sh** outta luck. Your double/triple garages on one end (maybe) you can put your garbage pails along side the house before you hit the property wall. On the other side you can’t put a VW down the driveway. Your migrant landscaper has to hump all the rock and mulch on their shoulders to get crap to the back. These houses are HUGE! sometimes w/ build-in RV enclosures. Your neighbor looks out their side windows and see’s a massive wall of stucco. Forget seeing the Mountain or Mesa. Some look like they are living next to a Storage Unit warehouse!. Disgusting. And the Homes w/ RV garages are not $300K they are $5-600K ! Hey whatever floats yer boat folks (Oh, and they have serious boats too.
FOR WHAT? You now live in a desert! and the only water is 100 miles away!.
I’m sorry to report people lately are sh** stupid. They just can’t give up their toys. They don’t know how to downsize just a bit. And when our economy tanks
and it will. They are going to run through their saving toot sweet. The average media income here is $50K (If you are smart and lucky) a lot of folks are barely making it now. A Van shuttle driver who works the worst shift @ the airport just got a raise to $15.00 an hour! Big Whup! They said to this guy (not me) that IT’S THE TIPS! well my friends it isn’t the tips. Only us folks tip now. Most people now view all the outrageous fee’s to go on vacation what 'Service jobs/people they run into is now ‘Part of the package’ and they leave squat. I give a decent tip and sometimes these Servers and drivers look like I just landed from Mars. It’s so sad. Oh, and this guy said their were 350 people applying for this Shuttle job! Hey ‘Crusty the Clown!’ the Economy sucks! You are KILLING American’s! How’s THAT for straight talk?

This cannot stand!

Sounds just like Florida, Don. The developers are somehow allowed to “moonscape” hundreds of acres, piling ancient cypress and oaks into huge piles and burning them, so they can cram in 10,000 houses with 5’ side yards. Then they stick a phuckin palm tree in the front yard and welcome all the rich New Yorkers to the “Florida Dream.”

I used to love this state, but you’ve got to get far out of the cities now to get real Florida.

‘Real Florida’ TRUTH!
Just (10) years ago, I could walk my dogs on the Mesa and still see my Neighborhood.
They’d chase rabbits, we’d see coyotes and hawks, even Vultures
now, it’s flattened
and paved over. I walked w/ my gun on my hip and my AR over my shoulder (AH! dreaming
w/ a smile).
Now, I HAVE to go to the far reaches of the Mesa to a Co p Shop Shooting range
(and I am grateful to be ‘ALLOWED’ to shoot there). If that weren’t so it’s strictly
Indoor shooting. You shoot on the plains and it brings the Man. Sad. You carry an AR
and Fagedabout it (I shudder inside). We see Coyote’s on our streets now
because we’ve encroached on their hunting grounds, They walk down the street looking
like ‘What Give’s!’ No friggin’ rabbits for miles! So, they feast on dopey humans dogs and cats now.
'I don’t know what happened? a resident say’s on ‘Next Door’ I always let Fluffy out to do his business
but he just vanished!
Joseph, I bet someone can jump from rooftop to roof top in that picture you showed? (I couldn’t, but someone could!           )
Too Fluffy for dat!

I haven’t been outdoor shooting in years. I miss it. No place left around here.

That area I posted the picture of isn’t as bad as some because there are a few trees tucked into back yards. Most of the newest ones have no trees at all (except for the obligatory front yard palm tree, usually of a species that isnt even native to Florida).

They will slash and burn hundreds or even thousands of acres at a time. The twisted irony is that they’ll usually name the new development after that which was destroyed to make it. There is one near me named after a beautiful old 3000 acre cattle ranch that is now totally gone. Not a cow for miles, but thousands and thousands of new houses. The only thing that makes it tolerable is that my own house is almost 50 years old, and the family who built it had the good sense to keep all the old trees on the land. Some are upward of 300 years old. It’s what Florida was like pre- developer and population boom.

Brother, My neighborhood is called ‘Paradise Hills’
(No matter what developers do you can’t cut down and entire hill) Although? Hmm
My House was the second house built ‘Up there’ in 1960–exactly as old as ME!
and there are (60 year old trees front and back! (and enough room to drive my back-hoe and make

er
'adjustments in my yard (JIC!) :skull: :skull: :skull:
These New developments, these uber rich? what’s the first thing they attempt?-----GRASS!
Installing grass patches ----in the desert? Unbelievable. And they sometimes wear cowboy hats!
Pink and Blue cowboy hats!—what No spurs? so they can chink, chink down the aisles @ Costco?

I wonder about our country sometimes

Oh wait! The best part! They discovered a LAVA formation under their development site!—LAVA!
There are (7) VOLCANO’S close by—REAL Volcano’s!—and they still Built!
I lost a tooth on my back Hoe because of that LAVA Rock. They had to dynamite the land for enough Concrete to pour for the foundations. At least the foundations aren’t going anywhere if the house gets obliterated! Small comfort.
