"New" Walther .380s

Walther has brought out a resurrected PP with its 3.9" barrel - at the shocking price of $900.00+ and the PD380 - a vast improvement over its PK380, with a 3.7" barrel, an improved PDP-inspired poly frame design - MINUS the irritating, one-more-thing-to-lose disassembly wrench - at a price about a third of the PP. Has anyone shot this new pistol?

you mean - new old pistol
My guess is that 96 year old design is good for collectors only… and that is the reason for ridiculous price.

Come on @Jerzees, don’t be hating on 96 year old design.

Some of us still buy 1911 even older design :+1:

Uh, the “modern sporting rifle” was designed 70 years ago!

That’s why I like firearms. Change is slow enough for me to keep up with. Old is often good.

Including me

But 1911 is over 100 years old…and we honor everything that’s at least 100 y old :joy:

The really nice thing about being over 100 years old is very few people die over that age.

The only thing about a 380 is that it is feckless, much like WillB. It just doesn’t have the power of its counterparts.

And to lock the slide back you need to insert an empty magazine and the magazine release mechanism has a 15lb spring in it. :-1:t2:
