Micro-RONI Glock Stabalizer

I purchased a CAA Micro RONI about 5 or 6 years ago. It is currently not attached to my Glock 19.

Someone told me that just “owning” the kit requires me to register it with the ATF. I cannot find a definite answer anywhere on the internet. I would rather not give those money grubbing EXPLITIVE HOLES a single dime and I would rather destroy the kit before registering it.

CAA now has a disclaimer on its website with the following information:

Does this mean I am required to register it with the ATF even though I do not intend to assemble it?

Ask a lawyer. Your lawyer.

It looks to me, a non lawyer lay person, like a person who possessed those items would be currently committing a federal felony

My non-lawyer recommendation to such a hypothetical person would be to simply destroy the device

I am not a felon yet. The new rules take effect 31 May. I don’t have a “My Lawyer.” That is why I subscribed to USCCA. I was hoping there may have been some research done here.

It just seems a little off that the ATF can change a few rules and force me to pay them $200 and register something I bought years ago or else become a felon.

@BRUCE26

Thanks

It’s possible they consider it a federal felony now, and simply aren’t choosing to prosecute…probably

But again I’m no lawyer.

Why can’t they just grandpa these things in? The federal crossing guards need to be told NO, you cannot do anything about it, you do not make the laws, you’re just a fake federal agency made up to interfere with second amendment rights

Oh, hello and welcome @Christopher447

Yeah that’d be swell.

Thanks for the video, that answered all my questions. Why on earth it was not the first one to pop up when I hit google or YouTube I will never know. It was by FAR the best and most complete explanation on the rule I have seen to date.

New to the ATF rules, over reach, shoot first lie later tactics Sir?
Just ask the (10) MILLION Gunner’s who bought Butt stock Stabilizers on the ‘good faith’
the Anonymous Tobacco factory who ALL OF A SUDDEN "Cha Ching! " (sound of (30) pieces of silver
clanking in their pockets, changed their ‘ruling’ Butt stocks good…I mean BAD!
(10)+ MILLION instant Felons!
