Do. Any of the . Members of the USCCA. Believe. That. Carrying. In. A night club. Can . Put. You in. A. Bad. Situation. ?? And what do you all think about . Carrying . Where. They sell alcoholic beverages?? D
If it’s a true bar, not family friendly (over 21 only) drinking mainly, then I’d suggest going in clean, as usually the only reason to go in is to drink. I avoid these. If it’s family friendly and they happen to serve alcohol, and unless they have legal signage to the contrary, I will carry. This means I’ll go in, eat, and stay clear of any alcohol. This mirrors the law for concealed carry in our state. When in doubt, don’t take unnecessary chances, not worth it. JMO
Things vary state to state. In some you are OK to carry but you cannot drink. Research your laws closely - a mistake could mean a felony.
That’s definitely correct stay sharp . Here’s ya a root beer bless you and yours love Bobby jean and Debbie ann
Larry 130 THATS the post of the week . Here’s ya a root beer SIR love Bobby jean and Debbie ann
As a rule, I won’t carry anywhere that serves alcohol as alcohol in uncontrolled quantities makes normal people thorough morons apt to do something stupid and I’d rather not take a chance on them when I can control the situation by gifting them with my departure. I don’t go to bars much, either.

Texas Penal Code spells it out pretty clear for us Lone Star residents. Item #7 is the one we need to follow.
Sec. 46.03. PLACES WEAPONS PROHIBITED.
(a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly possesses or goes with a firearm, location-restricted knife, club, or prohibited weapon listed in Section 46.05(a):
(7) on the premises of a business that has a permit or license issued under Chapter 25, 28, 32, 69, or 74, Alcoholic Beverage Code, if the business derives 51 percent or more of its income from the sale or service of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption, as determined by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission under Section 104.06, Alcoholic Beverage Code;
I never have gone out to bars or clubs and I have stopped consuming alcohol, so it is a no brainer for me.
