Agree that everyone should train and practice but disagree that should be a requirement to carry. What other constitutional right should we impose requirements on before we can fully practice them? I believe that the entire country should be constitutional carry without prerequisites. You can still ban felons from owning them without any change. You still have to catch them just like you have to do now.

How dare they fire a gun in NY!! Don’t they know guns are illegal and the whole city is a gun free zone?! Can’t they read the signs all over NY??!!

It took me 3 weeks, and I got thanked by the local police chief. My state is deep blue, but my town is like the good areas of TN or W VA…and I got my permit way before Wuhan got the flu. These days, glad I’m not needing anything firearms related, as it just seems to be a mess out there. I did just get printed for a FL permit, and had to go to a neighboring city to get that done, as my town, the neighboring town, and the county state p.d. all seemed to be incommunicado.
My son is in TN, recently done with his USMC/NSA stint, and doing cyber security out of his home now. His term for living in TN…“it’s chill as xxxx”. Wife and I are headed back in September, look around some more, checking W VA out as well. Need our retirement farm.

In the state of Florida I was issued a license to carry a concealed weapon or firearm. Yes, licensed to carry.
