Sig Sauer P938 Legion for me. An amazing little pistol that I carry everyday (with my other larger Legion pistols collecting dust in my safe).

Welcome to the community!

I miss my 938

(Stock photo)

My buddy who I sold it to says he still has it,… and says he won’t sell it back!

I’ve only sold 3 guns.

Springfield XDS.45; good gun, compact .45 went boom every time I squeezed the trigger, ate anything I fed it reliably…..

Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with it.

Sold to a buddy who could wear a ragged hole with it for a loss.

Ruger SP101 3” 357/.38spl nickel plate finished; another great gun! ….. In single action,…. I’m not much of a wheel gun guy, I love my single six, but it’s not a carry/utility gun….

5 shot capacity, and abysmal 13lb double action trigger pull meant I couldn’t shoot my way out of a locked closet in DA…. Just couldn’t fall in love with it for that reason.

Sold to a coworker with a gap in his collection.

Then there’s that P938 “we the people” finish….

The only gun I regret selling!

I loved that gun! Found it at a gun show, loved the finish and how it felt in my hand…. When I got it to the range, it was a great shooter!

Then I went to the range with my navy veteran buddy….

He shot it and fell completely in love with it!

At first I told him to get his own when he asked to buy it,… but that finish wasn’t available, and he was persistent.

I respect his service as I do all veterans, and he clearly wanted the gun, even offering $100 more than I paid new…. So I caved and sold him the gun for what I paid.

I miss that gun.

I found these on Grabagun website

They are kind of pricey, but I just wanted to give you a heads up just in case.

Seems like a flaw of the XDS series. I thought I was a bad shot but my other pistols make me look good.

I’ve seen the little 938s since,…. But never that “we the people” finish….

And even if I find one, I don’t have my Colorado permit to purchase, so I can’t buy it! (In spite of already owning 33 firearms and holding a valid Colorado concealed weapon permit)

Thanks for the look though.

Edited because of autocucumber

My dad has a 938 that I continue to refuse. I hated shooting that thing!

What didn’t you like about it?

I’m not a 938 fan, for whatever reason I don’t shoot that gun well . If your good with small, and highly concealable I like the LCP max. In my opinion it’s an excellent choice. It has 11 rounds and a great front sight. There’s less to grab but it works for me. Pocket carry is more about what I’m wearing and where I’m going. I carry an Sig 365 in a pocket holster also as well as the under estimated SW, J frame. (5 for sure) Bottom line is practice with (how and what ) you carry. Most importantly keep safe.

Magpul version has higher capacity

The KelTec P38T was always in my left front pocket on patrol. A Kimber Micro9 in the right front pocket has replaced it in retirement only because bigger bullets are better. If it’s not on my hip, it’s in my pocket, simple as that. Not about to start carrying a weapon pointed at my genitals, despite the hype.

It’s been said that the only certainties in life are death and taxes, but there’s another item on the list: human error. We can train to minimize it, but we cannot eliminate it. I’d rather graze my stinker than blast off a clacker any day.
