Thanks for the advice. The cannon does have to have a fuse to be lit to go off. and I do have long fuses as well. I’ll be using a lighter that I got that doesn’t use a flame. It is one of the ATOMIC LIGHTERS that you’ve seen on TV.
I remember using sand bags to keep it from rolling backwards.
Here’s a glock conversation kit I always liked. It turns your pistol frame into a lower.
@James that’s the exact one I’m going to order
makes me extra certain since that’s the one you like!
I recently purchased my first Glock a g48. Really enjoy shooting it and works for a concealed carry. i think my favorite gun to shoot is my Ruger SR1911 45 cal. I am more consistantly accurate at extended range and i love the feel of a 1911.
All unwanted or unloved guns need rescued!!!
Great job Jketchem
I have a cannon just like it, shot it off for July 4, 2019. I use Cannon Fuse about 4" long, it gave you time to get away. You have to tie it down are it well fly throw the air. And don’t shot it, until you clean the barrel after every shot. Just like a real Cannon. P.S. you have to pack it with paper. I have use 45-70 bullets in my Cannon. I don’t live in the city.
I just posted a video of the firing of my 9 in. cannon. It’s in a new topic called “firing my cannon”. And it’s no a great video because I had to do it by myself. so there is a lot of none cannon video. But I did get the cannon going off.
How did the cannon work on the fourth
My cannon worked great. A friend made me a powder dispenser out of a 9mm shell casing. And the first firing I poured 1 shell casing in. And it went off fine. And it wasn’t loud. The second time I poured is 2 shell casing and it was louder. and the last time I did 3 shell casing and it was even louder. but it wasn’t loud enough to have hearing protection. I did post a video on here showing it being fired. It is titled FIRING MY CANNON. And it isn’t a good video because I couldn’t get anyone to record it. So I had to light the fuse and record it myself. but I did get the cannon going off.
Zee,
Just ordered my own Canic. You should be ashamed of yourself showing such weapons and making me go out and buy them!!!
@Raymond, I am. Totally. SUCH a bad influence. I may actually be one of the people your parents warned you about.
Which one did you order? Can’t wait to see it!
I ordered the TP9 SFX with optics. It is black on grey. Should be at the gun shop by Friday I hope.
@Raymond that’s the same as mine except color! Its pretty fun to shoot
That was a very popular round for the lever action rifle of the time so they made a revolver the same caliber so you only had to carry one type of round.
New gun for the wife. It’s a Smith&Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ. She can’t manipulate the slide on my Sig P320 M17 but this one she can. She shot it for the first time tonight and did pretty well.
I hope you won’t take this the wrong way, Zee, but you suck,!
Ha! @David38 I love you too ![]()
You should stop by, I’ll get out all my toys and we can poke holes in things. ![]()
If we’re anywhere near geographically close, I’d love to!
I’ve mostly been working with my Ruger Security 9 lately, but I’ve been getting the urge to haul out the “big Russian”, a Mosin Ngant 7.62 x 54 built in the late 20’s.
Regards.
