Both holsters look great except they seem to orient the grip the wrong way ![]()
Even the knife is the wrong way! Sheesh. ![]()
Where do the empty cases eject from?
Right part of my brain sees it the right way ![]()
Hey I paid extra for that left-handed Böker!
Hmmm ![]()
From the bottom of the magazine. ![]()
That S&W looks cool
and I just got reminded I need a multitool in my rotation.
This past Christmas, I gave out few multi tools - Mossy Oak brand logo, mini cloth holster as well, had screw driver bit on its outside pocket, and locking instruments. Pleasantly surprised how much they liked em.
@Karacal,
That would be great if they put me on the board. I would… Lets see

Changed up my holster. Tenicor certum3 and a separate mag holster, so far I like the fit and it’s more comfortable than my safariland incog x. Also, it’s one of the few I’ve found that work with the AXG aluminum grip for the xmacro.
Depends on what Im wearing, where Im going and what Im doing but I carry one of my PPKs or a Shield Plus.
Start here then post
My EDC is a Glock model 33, 357 Sig. Nothing fancy, just reliable with plenty of knock down. I pray I never need it or any other gun I have. I could kick myself for having so many guns…
The top picture is my Sunday go-to-church carry with a Rock Island Armory Model 206 .38 Special six shooter in an ankle holster with a spare quick load.
The other picture is my pretty much every day carry consisting of my Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P Shield 2.0 9mm carried in a Crossbreed IWB holster with a spare clip.
When I go out of town, which is every so often, I carry a Ruger LC9s 9mm also in a Crossbreed IWB holster with a spare clip. (Not pictured)
I carry a full sized 10mm with a green dot. I use critical duty hollow points that utilize a plastic cap in the point.
Here is my reasoning. First, I want penetration and power, that’s a given. Second or maybe another first, I don’t want over penetration. I could use extreme penetrators or any other hot load that would penetrate concrete blocks but, I’m probably not shooting through a wall or concrete. I’m not in bear country and shooting through a car is probably not something that is considered defensive.
I can make it through a leather jacket, car window or drywall without the hollow point plugging up and still get good expansion in a soft target.
I train with hotter loads so recoil is less with what I carry. I do shoot them occasionally just for the feel.
I am 6’4” so it isn’t too bad for concealment. I use a variety of holsters. OWB leather if I’m wearing a jacket, IWB leather lined kydex, if I’m wearing shorts or jeans and a shirt. I do wear a paddle holster when riding a motorcycle. On the bike I am open carrying. Once I step off my vest and jacket cover the weapon. I use this method both for comfort and accessibility. My chaps ride higher than my belt, making it almost impossible to draw effectively.
Although many argue against open carry, the paddle holster has a higher level of retention. Adding the odds of needing a weapon to the odds of someone trying to successfully take it from me, that already isn’t armed, are greater than the odds of needing surprise.
Bottom line, I have very large hands and accuracy and control outweighs comfort. I’ve adapter to clothing that works well. Stopping power matters. If I carry an extra mag or 2, I question if I really need to be in that environment. At home, I worry about shooting into a neighbors house with a miss. I have other weapons available.
Being involved in high adrenaline activities like skydiving, helps me to stay calm and focused when the adrenaline suddenly spikes. Revert to training. For me, I think it’s a good balance. We get comfortable with what we make our normal. As laws relaxed in my state, I got back into EDC. 10 mm was the new normal, for me.
Sad thing is, Brother, “that environment” cold be a trip to your local grocery store for your weekly/monthly supply run. A lot of gunners here would agree that having it and not needing it is better than needing it and not having it.
