Glock 43 :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

You’re correct, it’s definitely personal preference.

My only suggestion would be whatever you choose, make sure you’re comfortable and accurate with it

One of the two firearms that I carry is the Canik Mete MC9. It’s small (designed for conceal carry), light and has 12 or 15 (+1) capacity. It is also reasonably priced. I have no complaints with it.

The other is a Glock, so I won’t mention that.

Define smallish.

Smallish for me is 4” with 15 rounds.

Best will definitely be subjective. I have read and heard good things about the S&W Bodyguard 2.0. I personally carry a SIG P365 X-Macro year round. Been considering the Hellcat as a rotation option, but haven’t gone and rented one to check it out.

Two criteria…

  1. Comfortable enough to carry concealed that you will actually EDC it.
  2. Comfortable enough to shoot that you will practice at the range at least twice a year.

M&P Shield…reliable accurate and won’t put a big dent in the bank account it it’s “confiscated” after an incident.

S&W Shield Compact 9mm

HK VP9SK -but with proper holster, could be all year EDC. I carried a Ruger SR9C before with no issues.

I am looking at IWI Masada Slim.

Just go to gun store and see what’s the best for you. If you have rental at the range, go and test all handguns you liked at the store.

Otherwise… you will have to shoot what others like, not you.

In addition to previous replies, I recommend a search for holster selections available. You’ve been carrying long enough to have a good idea what kind of holster is going to work for you.

I very recently didn’t select a Canik MC9 Prime because of lack of acceptable holsters. That and I liked the FN Reflex XL internal hammer fire better.

I am a revolver guy, I love my Kimber K6s

I like the Staccato CS, but the Kimber Micro 9 is really nice also. I love the different styles. I also have the Sig Sauer 365XL, a nice gun also.

I still want this Kimber, a tad bit larger than the Micro 9, feels great in the hand. :+1:t2:

I hear you. I still have to keep the wife in mind when I buy stuff, or she might cut me off.

I am going to have to check out that Kimber. Maybe I can say they are his and hers weapons. LOL
Anything to buy more weapons. I really like the fact with most weapons you can get the extended mags; it really helps if she is carrying it or if I am.
