Yep, one of the oldest tricks in the (propaganda) book.

I tell you I don’t think I’d have been a very good police officer because of the fact I’d be wanting to hang the lowlife lawyer that gets these people with wealth or connections off just because they get paid, and I’m sure a lot of justified shootings would have been on my service record.

It sure decreases the chances of repeat offences by these pieces of $h1t

I had the “pleasure” of meeting OJ and hearing him speak for 20 minutes. He was the DUMBEST man I ever met and that bar is HIGH!!!

That idiot got away with the absolute most horrendous and public revenge murder in the history of the world. And I’m convinced I’m a LOT smarter than him.

If the Judge did have sex with the Sheriffs underage daughter a slug to the chest was a Christian charity dismissal compared to what he would get from others not as forgiving

I certainly don’t want to be a pain
you are most correct @Don102, no punishment=crime, but in my so humble opinion, it began when this country lost God, and our faith that we have far more to gain in eternity with Him through acceptance of Him and the standard of living that comes with Him.

I AGREE!
(and you’re NOT a pain.
(am I that difficult to communicate with?)
Please I know I may have opened the Don102 ‘KICK ME’ Floodgates
But honestly, I LOVE GOD. I may not quote chapter and Verse unless I look it up
but I agree this administration has crippled us by their woke/ Socialist oppression.
You stop the Pledge of Allegiance, you stop having the FLAG (THE FLAG)
in every classroom, You display Ukraine’s and the ‘Rainbow’ flag
and tell the kids the American Flag doesn’t represent the current interests of our country.
3,4,5 or 6 Bathrooms instead of just the necessary (2) Kids are going to ‘ACT OUT!’
(Catbox’s are not put in Elementary School bathrooms, If your kid considers hi/herself a ‘FURRY’? is it? They need Psyche help )Rapidly)
Sheesh!

Brother Don, you really need to stop worrying about what others think. There are very few people in this world who I give a ■■■■ about and what they think of me. I have respect for many (you are one) but in the end. :man_shrugging: Added: I have been a lot happier since. :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t know about the ranking of VA’s Murder / Manslaughter laws.

Sounds like a heat of passion killing to me.

I don’t know how that will play out, if that is so, might not be first degree murder?

I didn’t look very closely at the article but Letcher county is in KY. It buts up against Wise county VA. I miss that area so much.

Yes Sir, magnificent country in parts here about.

It’s a good reason among many to move here.

Murder 1 in Virginia requires premeditation. If he had found him actively raping his wife/daughter, crime of passion would be the case. It sounds like he found out and then went and confronted the judge, which would make it premeditated. If the reports about that is factual, I highly doubt they will ever find a jury that would convict, especially in this part of Ky. really depends on the prosecuting district attorney in the end

They will most likely move the trial to somewhere more accepting of their point of view. I know I wouldn’t vote guilty.

you are more than likely correct. I would imagine the states AG would step in and move this to a different district because of the status of both individuals in the community. Im not familiar with the policies of KY’s current AG so i cannot speak to how that would honestly play out.

All good points.

“The jury is out.”

(IDK) I don’t know what exactly transpired in that judge’s chambers.

I can only speculate.

The Sheriff’s state of mind, his original intent, may have only been to stop his contact / conduct with his daughter(?)

I don’t know what the judge’s response was(?)

He may have been arrogant, and threatening, and elicited the response(?)

Lacking any witness in the chambers; any account might be suspected false regardless of circumstances(?)

Too many unknown variables to consider yet to have a take, other than wait, and see how it all plays out.

Looking at the father, one may be sympathetic.

Looking at the Sheriff one might think he should have know better.

Not knowing what buttons might have been push to trigger him beyond reason might be a motte point if the prosecutor is unreceptive to whatever might be offered as “justification,” if there is any?

agree on every point. Lack of information just leads to wild speculation on the internet, as we know literally nothing at this point for absolute fact other than the sheriff shot the judge in his chambers, behind closed doors without witnesses. that’s why I try to be noncommittal on my responses on these. If the facts come one way or the other its best to view that evidence with clear eyes and an unbiased opinion. In the end, only the sheriff, and his family would know the actual truth at this point. Dead men tell no tales, as the saying goes

At the risk of sounding ‘Racist’ I am going to make the comparison of OJ and Kamala Harris.
One known and celebrated for his speed on the field (and NOT his Intellect) and the other for her DEI hire being a useful idiot that is pliable and susceptible to coercion and in further sealing my fate as a racist BOTH think they were God’s gift to humanity

God will be the Judge
