too many of we the people do not understand they have the right of jury nullificationā€¦

ya they did whatever they are on trial forā€¦ perhaps it is simply a bad lawā€¦ poorly written???

or you would have done the same if you were in their positionā€¦

however you as a juror can REFUSE to CONVICTā€¦

in the 60ā€™s the gov was very upset over that in the southern statesā€¦

so since then they courts have NOT mentioned the above factā€¦

You said a mouth full here. I didnā€™t learn about until about 15 years ago. Everybody thinks the judges instructions are the only way. Like voting for president, I make up my own mind and go from there. You know we still get hung juries. Donā€™t know if that is the cause though.

I canā€™t look at the accused as two separate persons.
Heā€™s a father who happens to be a sheriff.

Race plays to part in any assessment I make of people. OJ could have been a purple alien and my measure of him would have been the same.

Now Kamala being picked as the VP candidate by Joe was a blatantly racist move by him when he publicly and loudly proclaimed he was picking a woman of color. His statement sets up a selection process which excludes candidates who posses wildly more important attributes like experience and intelligence to be openly discriminated against based on race!!!

Some Governors fail to realize that their statesā€™ have boarders, and that their authority stops their.

Especially those with delusions of grandeur about overreach both in and out of their states, maybe with ambitions to grab the national media attention on the way to a nationally elected position that they are wishing to get.

Sheriff accused of shooting judge pleads not guilty, could face death penalty (msn.com)

The Kentucky sheriff accused of fatally shooting a judge in his chambers last week could face the death penalty if convicted, according to a special judge appointed to preside over the case.

Letcher County Sheriff Shawn Stines, 43, made his first court appearance Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges.

On Thursday, Stines allegedly killed Kentucky District Judge Kevin Mullins, 54, inside his chambers in the Letcher County Courthouse, officials said. The shooting allegedly occurred ā€œfollowing an argument inside the courthouse,ā€ according to Kentucky State Police, and investigators are still searching for a motive.

Stines did not appear to show emotion during the brief hearing on Wednesday, where he appeared over Zoom wearing a jail uniform alongside his public defender, who entered the not guilty plea on Stinesā€™ behalf.

He is expected back in court on Oct. 1.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

In the military they say; ā€œA loss of confidence to commandā€¦ā€ when they want to remove a commander from a position.

Regardless of motivation, I think that when a chief LEO shoots a judge dead lacking apparent imminent threat justification, that qualifies for dismissal regardless if we would sympathize with his motive even if it were known what that was.

Is it worth it? Only he can answer that question.

Truth that!

I think I would have to disagree with you. He was watering the tree of liberty and freedom IMO.
