I’m mixed on this one. Should the judge be removed “If” he didn’t honor The Constitution of The United States? Yep, I think so. Did this guy actually threaten the judge, I don’t think he did. To me this is an illustration of the arrogance of some of the occupants of the bench.

In July of 2022, Madden was arrested for standing in the middle of I-15 near Spanish Fork waving his arms while carrying a gun in a holster, according to charging documents. He was arrested after a Utah County sheriff’s deputy used a Taser and a second deputy tackled him from behind, the charges state.
“During an inventory search of the defendant’s vehicle, a .223 caliber AR-15-style firearm was located, along with several magazines loaded with armor-piercing ammunition. An open tequila bottle and an open whiskey bottle were also found,” according to charging documents.
A model citizen “threatens” judge

I didn’t really see enough to make the call but I believe he should have kept his mouth shut had a lawyer and taken his punishment for being a dumb azz.

Not someone I would like sitting next to me at a second amendment fundraiser.
We have to police our own ranks.
Going back to your original point, we’ve seen recently in NYC how a judge is capable of misuse of authority.
