If you are a senator and have to approve/disapprove her, you have to know whats coming. If your white and vote no, your instantly branded a racist, which is why Brandon and his handlers nominated her, and she is one of them.(or should I say ‘those people’) As to her fitnes for the SC I will save my opinions to my self.

If someone would tell me I’m a “diversity hire,” I would quit on the spot. It’s an insult to one’s intelligence and qualifications.

Brad said it best. Mostly her incompetence and leniency. She’s not even a good tap dancer! I was out of the room when I heard her tone change to anger during Ted Cruz cross examination. IMHO, she’s not fit! Call me what you will, but we don’t choose Supreme Court justices based on their looks or to fulfill someone’s bucket list.

I would think that the arguement would be easy.
"What do you think applicants for this position should be selected on and hired based on?
“Do you believe that you are the best candidate?” It would be so easy to find people better in every category.

Ha ha ha, that would be a great question. Not picking on the nominee, but I think she represents a significant part of our citizenry. That would say something about our society that they can easily define something as nebulous as “assault rifle” but can’t find a way to differentiate between men and women. (Kindergarteners can define boys & girls, for what it’s worth.)

Yes, but in fairness, most SCOTUS confirmation hearings are nothing but political theater.
Some are R-rated theater.

Many describe her as an activist in judicial robes. A couple of her decisions that were overturned on appeal show her activist leaning in her arguments. She is going to say whatever it takes to get on the bench. That is why Obama’s handlers, running the puppet show, gave Biden her name to read. So, unless enough people grow some backbone she will be confirmed.
