Well planned out for summer… do any of you keep rations or protein bars on hand?? If you do, how do you store them?? I get that nothing is fool proof, but somethings gotta be better than just the wrapper

I carry a set of self defense house keys, 12 throwing stars, nunchucks, bo, cat of nine tails, mallet, chastity belt and bag of zip ties. I’m thinkinking about adding holy water and a specially made rosary made from unbreakable fiber.
I’m joking of course. Some of the posts sound like their preparing for a war. All of my items in this post are taken from various movies. I don’t carry yet.

I’ve got a few systems that I carry or can carry. Really just depends on the situation. My EDC is a pistol and minimum of one extra mag usually 2 a flashlight and pocket knife.
I have an active shooter kit that allows me to carry a tear away medical kit, 9 AR magazines and 4 pistol magazine’s and a pistol.
I also have a couple different set up between those two. Those are my simplest and most complete.

I keep quite a bit on hand. Both hand gun, shot gun and rifle. Several mags always loaded but dump and clean everything often. If using or not. Keep all you can…

I heard that… I can 2 combat loads plus ready in mags for my AR… combat load is 210 rounds… and i have .45 in excess… since those are my go to weapons…

Personally I like between 1000 to 2000 rounds of all the calipers I have as you never know when you need it

I buy all of my HST ammunition from Target Sports. It’s the only place I can purchase 50 round boxes.

I carry a 20qt cooler everywhere I go. It’s my “BOB”. I have two IFAK’s, and most of the gear to survive a small civil unrest. Ammunition is also in it. I also have around 800 rounds of 9mm at home. I don’t stockpile rifle ammunition, only pistol ammo.

I never had an AR or AK, only hunting rifles. I quit hunting about five years ago and have been gifting my grandchildren with my hunting equipment. I still have two vintage long guns, a 16ga and Model ‘94 that were my grand dads. I don’t shoot either one. I’m pretty much just a pistol guy now. And strictly a Glock guy now.

Personally I keep Minimum of 1000 rounds per gun. I don’t carry that much, but I always have plenty for training with the whole dang family.

I have almost a full ammo case for everything but my AR ammo… which is mostly preloaded in mags…

Funny enough that the government wants you to be prepared for the unexpected. Somewhere there was a load out list for a “get home bag”, but here’s the beginning of a list from the FEMA app.

Same here, my boys don’t know when to stop. That is why I order ammo in bulks.
