I get it. It is a different mental place than I am, for sure. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night giving up that kind of financial security, or giving it up for my kids under the guise of low risk.
It is not impossible that many of you have a lot more $ than I do. lol But…I need this! Free money…who doesn’t want it?
investment and free-ish money?
Soooo,… 7 years ago I invested 326,000 in my home, I’ve since paid about 35,000 of that principal balance down, and the homes value has increased to 500,000….
I would make around 210,000 overnight if I sell right now.
Yeah, the ROI is slower, but I’m making money on the investment….
I think it was Will Rogers who said something like, “Land is the best investment; they ain’t making any more of it.”
All of my land/homes have about doubled also, but that’s not even close to the market.
Actually here’s the next onslaught. I shouldn’t have bought the Explorer….now I’ve got a fixation. I found this 2010 SG in gnarly good condition.

Santa Claus is close to being real for me at times. I got a gift of In my mind is of biblical proportion. I got a Soldano 4x12 cabinet and EVH 5150lll for Christmas. I about crapped myself. Hope all you guys were fortunate as I was. My upgraded practice area pics here too.

I am guilty of being an NFL trading card collector, I always like to talk about how much my collection is worth, but I don’t ever want to talk about how much I spent to get there, lol. I could probably retire if I just sold my cards but I am more of a dragon who just wants to horde my treasure till I die. I have been better over the last 10 years where I just buy the cards I want to add to my collection but I still spend $200 or so a paycheck buying packs to rip to see what I get on the chance.
