Have you shot the Canik TP9?

Yes yes! I have several brands that live happily together, they’re always looking for new roommates!

I have 2 Canik`SFXTP9 pistols. One has the Viper Red dot optics and the other is open sights. Love both of them. They hold 20 rounds in the magazine and are a very clean crisp shot. Dead Eye accurate right out the box. The size of them makes handling the weapon easy and flowing. I couldn’t recommend them more. And yes, they fit nicely in the safe next to my bevy of Glocks that I own as well.

I highly recommend them and you won’t be disappointed.

I still like my three TP9 variants. Even though the Elite Combat has the high seat with all the Salient parts. Even though it has the Salient barrel, every TP9 variant has a match grade barrel, so there are no bumps in the family…all champs.
BTW, I don’t know if I or another has mentioned this about the holsters that appear to have the release on the wrong side. If you’ll look closely at the holster, there is a projection on the paddle. Slight pressure inward toward the paddle when drawing will cause that “finger” on the paddle to engage the holster release. It’s seems to be more or less an instinctive motion.
It’s not my favorite holster, but it does work ok.

Wicked Super Snappy to me…
I just shot one for the first time.
All though I like the trigger it is super snappy and muzzle flip galore.
You have to use skills in recoil control to tame it.
Reminds me of my Wather Polymer Q5 match same problem and I hate, that gun…
Sadly the Canik is not for me.
I think Walther trigger is slightly better.
You have to pull hard once you hit the wall with the Canik…
I shot the CZ P-10C today that thing has a trigger like glass.
Hardly any pressure needed to break the shot is almost like a 1911 kind of scary how easy those shots break after hitting the wall…
no creep and super light pressure and the shot breaks.
Anyway I hope you all like your Caniks they just are not for me…
I will go back to my Zev OZ9 and my Walther SF Q4 and SF Q5
