Recently my local store had new Ruger Mark IV’s on display. The lite model felt great in my hand and the field stripping is super easy compared to the older models. Untorturable for me that they did not have have one to shoot on the range. If I would buy one I would put a cheap scope on it (recommendations welcomed) as I would shoot indoors at 25 to 50 yards. Any thoughts on this pistol?

They’re lovely. Still, I prefer my Mark III.

Didn’t know they made a “lite” version, I have the MK-IV regular version and it’s a nice plinker for sure!

It weighs less, has already a Pinkney rail, different grips.
