Hope everyone is off to a good start! My family is relatively healthy, thanks to Trump I should get a nice tax refund and I got a new gun on Tuesday. What I got was a Ruger used Mark IV, it was only used for one year as a training gun on the range. This so far the best gun I ever brought everyone should have one. Two things sort of disappointed me. One was that Ruger does not say how to oil it but a You Tube video solved that, The second one it is tough on my thumb to load the magazines but I ordered a magazine loader, similar to the one I got for my Glock 44 (like that gun too). My refund is 39% higher than last year. Nice little “bump”. Now I have to adjust my withholding downward for the next 3 years!

Is that the model that’s easier to field strip? IIRC earlier models were a pain to disassemble.

The Mark IV is a piece of cake to field strip; takes about 40 seconds. Same to re-assemble.

Yep! The hardest part of reassembly is getting the pivot lined back up!

I also got a speed loader for my Ruger 10/22. Works great especially when loading 25 round mags. In also came with a deloader which works great also.
