Do you mean advertising?
Name names
The one I remember is from “Guns and Gadgets”. I am not going to get into the arguments one by one. The premise was the competition is attorneys not an insurance co. They therefore can represent you in all 50 states, and your guilt or innocence going in does not affect their ability to represent you. They claim, if I’m hearing them right, they have no page of of exceptions and regardless of what you did, you’re covered. NOW, after saying this, I’m just regurgitating what I believe I heard. Not in any hurry to make any changes. There’s always 2 sides to every argument.
USCCA benefits, including access to the self defense liability insurance policy issued to the USCCA, are available to active members throughout the entire United States. There are three states that do not allow their residents to be members, those are NJ, NY, WA. If you reside in the other 47 states or DC you can be a member and have access to the policy in the entire US that’s all 50 states, DC, territories and possessions.
I doubt that “regardless of what you did, you’re covered” is that absolute a thing, I would reach out personally and ask that directly.
If you want to catch up on the same old stuff being recycled over and over on different channels, you can start here
I hear you, but in the marketing world old news is old news. Just watch TV and it’s Chevy, Toyota, progressive, Bud, Attorneys etc. Stop advertising and you’re toast. Every day there are new CCW’s issued, and we need to reach these people in today’s real time. They will not look or find yesterday’s news. You and many of us may, but the majority are impulse buyers. Why will Super Bowl adds cost millions for products you saw the add the day before and the day before that. Even if there was no competition, people don’t usually do any research until the need arises. Before I got my CCW I never gave anything related to it a thought. All I’m saying is if the competition is upping their marketing presence, then we, the USCCA needs to do the same. Advertise, counter untruths, and aggressively go after the market. It’s marketing 101.
From my recent observation, Jarrod from Guns and Gadgets wasn’t too pleased, and from what he said, did have a contract with uscca that they wouldn’t rescind. His main issue on a recent video was about the guy who uscca dropped who was then successfully defended by a court appointed attorney. Think it was the guy who warned then finally shot that idiot looking for internet fame by harassing people…well, one of those idiots anyways.
Did you say those states mentioned don’t allow their residents to join the USCCA? If so how can that possibly be legal?
That guy (Alan C) was not dropped.
Correct. How? I don’t know, just like I don’t know how any number of gun control laws are ‘legal’
Do you have any questions or concerns yourself, Matt?
If I did I’d ask. I do find it interesting that you and others seem to take any criticism of the organization personally and have the feeling any response to a question would be biased.
This is the officials USCCA community after all lol
So that’s why I should expect an attitude of being personally attacked and bias? Got it. …lol.
Is there anything community members posted you have found inaccurate ?
They had sponsorships from USCCA and after the big self defense cases where USCCA didn’t help and wouldn’t answer the YouTubers questions, they decided not to affiliate with USCCA any more
