Greetings from western MI

Since im relatively new here, ill introduce myself.

9 years in the Marine corps where i found my passion for guns. Pissed off my parents since i grew up in a strictly anti gun house , ironically, i changed their minds and they own more firearms than i do.

Been married for 27 years woth 1 daughter whos 13 and is a hockey geek and been playing on a boys team for the last 8 years.

We moved to rural western MI 11 years ago after living in AK for 18 years.

Im very conservative and hate seeing whats happening to this country.

I also cant leave factory guns alone, always room for improvements.

Welcome to the fold, Joel. Good to have you here. Time for your daughter to become a “woman at arms?”

Family issues forced us back. Was time to help take care of my parents.

Hockey is great, she plays on a boys league and doesnt take crap from them, seen her gloves come off more than once.

I got a winchester 94/22 from my late brother that has her name all over it.

Not too much about us.

I rebuild allison transmissions for a living. Built all 6 lines over the years, currently building the 1000/2000 series for GM models. My time off i work at our family property (100 acres) since my dad is just getting to old.

Having our tractor, mini excavator helps.

Wife was a taxidermist and she owned her own business in Anchorage specializing in bears. Shes disabled now, too many back surgeries. She loves hunting but had to give it up cuz she cant sit for long period of times, plus other issues that come up when needing a strong back.

Lucky enough where she can stay home to raise our kid, especially in her younger years.

Very gun oriented family, ironically since i grew up in a strictly anti gun house. Hell, my wifes engagement ring was a 4 5/8" ruger super blackhawk in 44 mag.
