Golden Rule Number One

It’s not a matter of authoritarianism over freedom.

One doesn’t have to be a genius to understand that true Conservatism follows the laws of God.

Anything outside the Laws of God, and that most definitively includes the entire left, is NOT a branding of authoritarianism over freedoms, which is just another leftist ploy of putting a label on everything. It’s just not and for those that see it that way are the same ones that have allowed evil and satan into their souls and hearts.

If those ten Commandments were followed, there would not be a need for all of the hundreds of thousands of laws on the books. Period.

You and I will differ. Jesus told his disciples to pay taxes to a pagan empire. Doesn’t seem very conservative to me.

I’ve seen religious authoritarians. I have no more need for a man who says “surrender your freedom of religion” than I do for someone who says “surrender your arms.”

If your statement to me is that we differ, then I’m completely missing the mark your making.

I’m not seeing anything so far that we differ on, IF that’s in fact what you’re referring to.

If we take a look at this whole debate one thing should become clear. There is a point were diplomacy no longer works. Where the two sides are so divided that unity cannot be achieved. It is why many of us have a CCW. That point is often reached by the ideology of the takers and the ones having their things taken. We have put ourselves in the place of ones that will defend ourselves and family against the takers period.

We have seen the two extremes here and they represent much about how our society has fractured in the last few years. @fox has a point because traditional American values of national unity have given over to new socialist values of globalism. The two views are incompatible. There was a time when I too believed my democrat friends simply had a difference in opinion and it was a subject for discussion. The attack on the First, Second and even the Fifth Amendment by the same group that once supported free speech to the point of fighting for in in Skokie Ill. Now they are pushing for limited free speech, attacking the Second Amendment. They have embraced the extermination of 60,000,000 Unborn and consider that a right that should be supported by the tax payer. That is not a resolvable difference with the Christian conservative. So for those that don’t see the great chasm between us in this country I would love to hear where they see common ground? To be honest it is different from agreeing to disagree. It is a wall that will not be breached. I am not saying we cannot be civil to each other but we used to be able to be civil to visiting communists that didn’t mean we had common ground.

The Golden rule number one is doing for others as you would have then do for you.

Then it apparently seems that you are saying that you and I do NOT differ because I can NOT disagree with one of your words. Not one.

So although I’m still not clear on your initial statement with regards to me, by your last post I can see that you feel exactly as I do.

As for your mention of skokie, I lived my virtual entire life both south and north of that city. I was born in Elmwood Park not far south of it and then lived in the farther most area of Lake County and worked in Lake Forest for almost two decades. Even helped out friends at Knauz Mercedes to help them chauffeur cars back and forth from and to Bulls and Bears players.

My heart is heavy when I see someone speak negatively of another, in particular, when I hear someone speak negatively about an entire U.S. state. A state, like any other which might slant to one side or another, but still has some diversity; Yet I’ve heard someone make a negative generalization about them. Those are people.

Why does this come to mind now? I think of Texas. I stand inside a northern state, inner city, as far from Texas as anywhere. Yet, I have descendants who were from Texas, who made a difference in the lives of many. A state where we happen to be having our Expo in, in October. I’ve heard individuals in my current home town speak negatively of that state. Just today, one of the top internet search engines posted a negative statement about Texas. Their dislike towards that state was palpable.

Perhaps, as some of you have highlighted, let us not stoop to that level, let us take the higher road, and be better and bigger than that. That might be one of the best ways to face discourse, with dignity and honor. I do hope for our country to connect on the beautiful common threads.

I’m grateful that our little community here can and does have a bond amongst us all, in our belief in our rights to protect and defend.

Yes, we tend to agree on the thrust of your post. To clarify my post I see your post as standing on the pro side of a constitutional constructionist. I have seen others even in the USCCA as following the idea that the constitution is a flexible document that is meant to be viewed with an ever changing eye on the beliefs of society at the moment. In that regard it seems as if we stand on the same side of the divide.

I also understand those that believe we still live in a nation that has more in common than what divides us. But I tend to believe we have passed that point where we are as united as we once were. I also see traditional democrats moving a lot farther left than they were when I was growing up. I also agree part of it is because the new progressive part of that party has moved away from the traditional religious values that once guided our collective society. So yes we agree.

What I have been looking at is the arguments that we are connected without examples. Are we connected through no bail release for criminal activity? Are we connected because people have the right to burn an loot our cities with minimal consequences but to protest politicians calls for the calling out of the national guard and putting up wall to protect our capital? Are we connected when we don’t want to prosecute to the fullest criminals that are shooting each other in Chicago at alarming rates but will tolerate gun legislation that will remove weapons from people that haven’t misused their weapon as a protective measure? Where is the common ground? For me “everyone” on the anti second amendment, First Amendment, Fifth Amendment and even the protection of the pre born are on the other side of the divide from me and my stand on the constitution. I am not calling them stupid I just cannot condone their goal constitutionally, or morally.

Burdo, I do understand what you’re saying, but as I have already stated, taking the higher road, being the better person, turning the other cheek has not worked and is the very reason this country is where it’s currently at with 80 million people with afflicted socialist thinking.

Rising above them has not worked and it will not work at this point. You and others can claim the same tired story of being the better and not all are like that, but all I know is that 80 million less the few million that the left fraudulently stole the election with are socialist thinkers and they want socialism because it’s plain as day what all of the left say and how they covered for the rioting, loss of lives and loss of businesses this past summer.

I have not to date EVER heard ONE democrat; NOT ONE, say that they were wrong for the violence this past summer. I have NEVER heard one; NOT ONE ever say that the biden’s should be investigated for chinese connections. NOT ONE have I ever heard apologize for the false accusations against Trump, like the PP Tape hoax lies which HAVE SINCE BEEN PROVEN WERE MADE UP BY THE LEFT. NOT ONE apology for the FIVE YEAR WITCH HUNT of General Mike Flynn WHICH ALSO WAS PROVEN FALSE BY FBI DOCUMENTS. NOT ONE have I ever heard say that they too want fair elections because that is the base for this country’s success and why ANYONE would NOT want serious allegations having EVIDENCES, NOT hearsay, but major EVIDENCES of LEGITIMATE fraud claims investigated is just beyond my consciousness and understanding. NOT ONE. What was there to worry about if there was no fraud? Why wouldn’t a sane individual welcome the chance to discover if this country’s voting system is legit or not? I know that I and millions others wanted to know whether it meant the left was right or the right were correct all along, whether it proved Conservatives right or wrong. Discovery of truth was the ONLY thing that mattered. What would have been the harm in seeking TRUTH? Is truth not what EVERYONE wants for this country? The answer is no because 80 million voted no on the truth and THAT IS FACT AND MATHMATICAL FACT AS WELL.

So when people tell me to rise above them, that’s it’s not all of them, that it’s mass selections I make, I could go on and on filling pages on line here showing that NO democrats back ANYHING that is sacred. NOTHING.

They are all for taking life in the womb but then cry foul if a white man murders a pregnant black women. They cry foul whenever the situation doesn’t fit their personal sick agendas.

No sir. I am not blanket covering them. People who think socialism are sick people and their souls have been infiltrated by satan. And no, the blackness is not in my heart as some will respond. Even Christ told us to speak out and condemn those that work against Him and to sell their cloak if they have no sword and buy one.

No sir. No blanket statements here. The only difference is that now I may singularly be the sole human on the face of the planet that is not afraid to speak an uneasy truth and I do so to wake people the heck up and I do so for my grandchildren and great grandchildren’s posterities.

I do not want them living in what is a shithole of a country at the moment with 50% shitheads.

No sir. No blanket statements here. NONE.

Again, I will not disagree with one word of your post. Again. Not one word.

The Constitution is UNWAIVERING. PERIOD. UNWAIVERING.

Just like Biblical Laws do not ever change with time, so be it the same with the US Constitution. Again. PERIOD.

As for your last paragraph, my answer is in agreement with you for every question stated.

This is one of those major brainwashing axioms of the Collectivists. The whole point is to cancel truth and righteousness with conformity. Being right IS kind. It just takes the long view instead of being short-sighted. Therefore it is WISE instead of foolish. Kindness is one of the moral virtues of righteousness. It does NOT trump truth, justice, temperance, etc. A virtue on whose alter we sacrifice the others becomes a vice.

P.S. It is kindness which compels me to bother to correct your philosophical error. If I did not care about your well-being (and that of other readers), I would be content to allow you to follow this path to destruction without saying a word.

Explain my philosophical error because everything you stated in your first paragraph I completely concur with, so where my error is I would need you to point that out to me as I’m getting a mixed message by your post, unless of course the last paragraph is simply a general example of your first paragraphical statements.

Thanks

About “Kindness”

Please read the Old and New Testament passages contained in the following link:

Kindness has been used by the left to take advantage of the kind(ness) of the Right and is the reason this country is where it currently is with 80 million socialist thinkers.

The more kindness given the left the more they abuse Christians.

No. Time is up. They had their chances. They started this all.

So just like Christ who in anger threw the tables over with the money changers, He also told those that had no sword to sell their cloak and buy one.

No more. It’s over. There is no more nicesties and getting along with them because they are all children of satan. satan has invaded their souls. It’s too late for anything but beating 'em down and back at this point.

“Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness; let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.”

That’s Psalm 141, verse 5. It is one of the verses listed in the link KillJoy posted.

Love and kindness might require me to tackle a child in the street – in order to prevent them from being run over by a truck. It is not kind to let someone wander over a cliff or into the mouths of hungry lions. There are many things Christians are called to be. Kind is just ONE of them.

SAUL ALINKSY WAS ONE OF THE GREATER THINKERS OF OUR TIMES. EVERY RULE BELOW IS EXACTLY THE SAME STRATEGY THAT THE DEMOCRATS NOW USE EVERYWHERE AND THIS MAN WAS RIGHT OVER THE TARGET MORE THAN A HALF DECADE AGO. SO NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE RIGHT TO ADAPT ALINSKY’S RULES AND USE THEM AGAINST THE SOCIALIST, COMMUNIST LEFT AND BEAT THEM AT THEIR OWN ‘GAME’.

Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for creating socialism

What is really interesting about the use of Alinsky’s simplistic tactics is that they were designed to be used by people with low intelligence – those whose lips move when they read. If they EVER read. Tools and fools. CNN’s audience.

Watch any video where the regular liberal “marchers” get interviewed and you will find that they can go no further, in a thought process, then the words they heard on CNN. They don’t have a message. They have a memorized chant which they cannot explain, or enlarge on. These people have no idea of what a concept is. They are very likely, these days, to be vaccine damaged.

When you understand this actuality, these Alinsky people become fun to watch.

Be aware that most proponents, and users, of these liberal tactics hide behind fake identities for GOOD reason.

Here is the complete list from Alinsky.

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”

Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood. (These are two things of which there is a plentiful supply. Government and corporations always have a difficult time appealing to people, and usually do so almost exclusively with economic arguments.)

RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.”

It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone. (Organizations under attack wonder why radicals don’t address the “real” issues. This is why. They avoid things with which they have no knowledge.)

RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.”

Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones. (Radical activists, in this sense, are no different that any other human being. We all avoid “un-fun” activities, and but we revel at and enjoy the ones that work and bring results.)

RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”

Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”

Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)

RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist. (Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.)

RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”

Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog. (Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management’s wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to their side.)

RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”

Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem. (Old saw: If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Activist organizations have an agenda, and their strategy is to hold a place at the table, to be given a forum to wield their power. So, they have to have a compromise solution.)

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

What is REALLY interesting is that Saul Alinsky died in 1972, almost 50 years ago…

So, these political tactics are, at a minimum, fifty years old. They were designed to deal with a political situation in existence during the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s – a world totally different from today. Yet, many activist groups laud these tactics without realizing their in-appropriateness in the 2020 world.

What Alinsky, and his followers, failed to comprehend is that they created a whole generation of people who cannot see beyond screaming criticism and offer any modern day solutions to social problems beyond a social shift to the hungry and dreary world of socialism/communism – something they definitely do not actually want to happen.

The counter reaction to this situation has been the rise of the humongous populist movement that elected Donald Trump. This group doesn’t put up with Alinsky-like nonsense. They outnumber the Alinski-ites 100,000 to 1.

Wholeheartedly agree. If Alinsky climbed from the grave and saw some of the celebrity athletes, and the geriatrics struggling with speech and thought, and politicians who can’t stop texting to underage kids, and folks uncertain about their… I won’t go there.

here here i agree 100 percent

You are absolutely correct killer. The now counterfeit Roman Catholic Church has been in a state of heresy since Vatican II (2nd. Vatican Council) in the years 1962 - 1965 and every Church laity member from the anti-Pope down is currently practicing heretical teachings.

I have a bullet list of all Pre-Vatican II Church teachings that Christ laid down for the Church to follow and along side it a revised bullet list of post Vatican II Church teachings and the number of Scriptures that have been removed or altered to ‘ease’ them or the flock is enough to make one dizzy and that is why the Church and it’s clergy are all currently invalids. Every single one, including followers and practitioners.

The ONLY VALID TRUE Clergy are either buried ten feet under or are in nursing homes and that’s it until the Church comes back to make things valid once more.

In the true infallible Catholic Church not one heretical error can be officially taught. The V2 Contra-Church teaches over 200 heresies as of 1965. I don’t even bother keeping count of how many more since then. Just one such heresy being taught from the Vatican and embraced by the clergy and laity is proof enough that it is no longer the Catholic faith or the Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ.

Woe to those who still affiliate themselves with their local V2 church run by invalidly ordained “clergy” under the leadership of an unbroken succession of antipopes since the Coup D’Eta of the Papacy at the October 26, 1958 Papal Conclave Coup.

This pains me so as a devout Roman Catholic, but Scripture does mention the fall of the Church but that it WILL one day return. Most likely not in mine, my grandchildren or great grandchildren’s time, but there is solace in knowing that God’s Word is always true and so the Church WILL come back because He says so.

There is a way to still perform Christ’s teachings without becoming heretical by going to the now invalid Church and teachings, but its practice is far too long to be explained here.
