I have two other sig. guns now. A P226 9mm and a P230 Concealed 380 caliber
I like the Glock, the Sig has had too much bad press on the firing when dropped issue. There are a variety of mods for the Glock too. However I like the FN FiveseveN for a full sized pistol carry, or for looks alone the Browning High Powered Practical (Packmier (SP) grips, beed blasted blue slide, hard chrome frame). Argueably in .45 I would go with the Sig 220.
Unfortunately Steyr M9ās get no love, I like it better than the Glock 19, same size, better trigger and better grip angle.
The G19 has been on the market much longer, and the P320 was known to have issues when it first came out. I prefer my Sigs with hammers and decockers, tried and true design.
I have a glock 19 it was on special and I found many after market parts to make it right for me
Welcome to the Community, @William263! What after market parts helped?
Welcome to the family brother William hope you stay and learn from these fascinating people here.
I have base plates slide lock and trigger parts for glock 19
Because I was weaned on Glocks. Transitioned from a wheel gun to a Glock 17 have carried them ever since.
Comes down to spent more time with Glock.
Fit, feel and finish of the Sig. Wouldnāt want to reach for a weapon in the dark and try to fire a box of tic tacs by accident. Of course Iāll take my Beretta and CZ over both of them.
I already have the Glock 19 and I love both Glockās and Sigās. So it is not one against the other for me, but both!!
I like the feel of the gun.
I chose the P320 because those ergonomics are best for me.
My naval officer brother took me shooting one day, and he had a Navy insignia P226. That gun was so comfortable and fun, it was how I got into shooting and CCW. While I donāt have a collection, per se, I only buy Sigs. I would LIKE to add a P320/M17 to my non-collection collection, but I donāt really NEED it.
For the Sig lovers
