Glock Gen 6

Not to trying to be a Glock apologist, but I wonder if the V series is for the Glock purists that are not interested in the new ergonomics. There’s a whole market of people that just bought gen 3s for the longest time. The Glock market is weird because there’s a bunch of people that don’t want Glock to change anything, then the other group is mad because Glock doesn’t change enough. V series provides a market for those people who want the standard Glock, they’ll send those in for stippling, get the slide milled… do all the things they like to do.

Another pro I forgot is the they changed the mounting system so that the mounting hole above the extractor rod is now enclosed and people don’t have to worry about their mounting screws or loctite causing failures.

That explains a few things. Sounds like you should be dead by now. Only the good die young? True in my mother’s case, she lived to 90, even survived COVID-19 with numerous co-morbidities. Thank God she finally died earlier this year. That almost converted me from Atheism. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Still has the same 3 cent slide release.

All my guns have stock sights. :person_shrugging:t2:

So do mine until I replace them.   I have a few with stock sights, but I have to look in the know at the range with all the bling. So they look at the gun and not at how bad I shoot.

You’re doing way better than I am. Every time I take a new non-shooter to the gun range they say things like “who are you”, “why did you throw me in the trunk”, “why are everyone holding guns”…

Do they also inquire about the hoods?   Some of mine do after I ask them if they are into sports like track. But seriously, over the last month I have taken two new shooters to the range. Over the last year I have also helped 3 people to get their CPLs; I have exposed them to weapons, and they have become avid shooters. One of my grandsons is going to turn twenty-one, so I have offered to pay for his CPL class and buy him his first handgun; he has been shooting with me for years.
Well now it is time for my detractors to chime in with their bullshiat about how they are sure that I bring new people to the range because I have no friends; they love to propagate lies.

Oh, also, to my detractors, I have taken homeless people to lunch with me and fed them. Not because I am a Democrat, which I am not, but because I am a human being. You should try it sometime.

I’m planning to run stock Glock sites on my 43x mos. BUT they are back ups to the red dot. I actually like the sight picture of stock Glock sights. I just wish they were metal over polymer.

I predominantly stay out of political drama, but I don’t understand what feeding the homeless has to do with being a Democrat.

I worked in England for many years. I frequently stayed at the Stakis (now Hilton) in Bath. I walked thru a tunnel under the train track to get to the train station every morning. There were always 15-20 people in the tunnel begging as I worked my way thru them. I’d ask the same thing every morning “Is anybody hungry?” The answer was always “Yes, give me money.” My reply was always “walk with me and we will have breakfast together.” I actually had a couple of people take me up on it. Every one of them was polite, grateful, and willing to tell me how they got into their current condition and their plans to get out of it.

I’ve always been a registered Republican, but never perceived any political affiliation with what I did. So, I agree with your statement about being a human being, just don’t understand the political reference?

Edit: I have done the same in USA. I’ve unfortunately had no takers in America. I have given filet mignon with baked potato and vegetables to beggars in American and watched them throw it in the closest rubbish bin. :-1:

Myself, I do not see it as a party thing. This being said, my detractor will use any reference I have about helping people as being a Democrat. As if being human to people somehow is wrong.
I personally applaud your efforts. Sadly, if you continue doing so for very long, the majority of the people on the streets, at least where I am, will suffer from mental issues and be in need of our help, not scorn. Sure, some are drug users. Still, they need our help. I have posted many times about the good-paying jobs this will create and the positive benefit to all of us.

I always employ that people watch this video not only because it is good music but also to read the message.

If Glock sent me one to keep I would make a video loving it also

Then proceed to change out the sights and trigger.

Ben is pretty real as far as I can tell. If he says he likes it, he probably genuinely likes it. His YouTube stuff is mostly for his amusement. Might change as he grows, but his channel is one I check frequently.

He’s always liked Glocks though, so it was a pretty safe bet he’d like the new Glocks.
