What is your favorite thing in your range bag?

Not including your firearm.

Not sure if favorite is the right word, but I carry my cleaning kit and repair tools, which at times are necessary. I often use my cleaning kit to give a quick clean to my CC handgun if I used it at the range that day, as I will load it after leaving the area where unloaded firearms are required.

22 pre-loaded magazines with 277 rounds of ammo.

Preloaded mags from TV watching the night before and a very old soft white t-shirt that I wipe each firearm down with after shooting it.

Ear protection.

I took my fiancee’s family to the range once. I made sure everyone had their ears on, and then took a shot with an 18" AR-15 in .223 Wylde (5.56 FMJ). I forgot to put on mine. Instant regret. Had to force myself to not drop the gun to cover my ears out of instinct…
