Friday Favorite: Gun Belt?

My german shepherd puppy used my favorite belt as a chew toy this last weekend so I had to get a new belt. I decided it was time to upgrade to a good gun belt and picked up a Nexbelt.

Here’s a great article on buying a gun belt:

What’s your favorite gun belt?

I picked up my first Nexbelt at the PA expo. I will be getting another one soon.

I have the Bonnie from Hank’s Belts and love it. Also, who doesn’t love a 100 year warranty?

@Zee I have the black one with white stitching. Been thinking about getting the brown one with pink stitching. I probably should not let him know that.

I have a Nexbelt in OD green web, and an Ernie Hill black leather that feels like a duty-weight belt… that one is curved and super sturdy.

You know @Dawn, you can get a Nexbelt with a USCCA buckle through the USCCA online store. That’s the one I’m wearing. I had a slight problem with the screws on the buckle. I commented what was the best way to stop this in the Nexbelt Facebook page. They immediately had me private message them. The next day I was contacted by their warranty department. They sent me a whole new updated lower buckle free of charge. No problems since then.
They have different buckles as well

My EDC belt is the Hanks “Extreme”. A full 1/4” thick, and warranted for 100 years. Yeah, 100 years.

Gosh… I have a Bigfoot with the metal liner (leather), a Kore Essentials nylon (similar to Nexbelt), and a Cobra from Vedder.

I like the Cobra, and dislike it at the same time. The buckle will not thread through my holster loops except one that has larger loops. So I do not wear it often. Taking off/on the other side is a pain. Nice belt though, and very comfortable.

I wear the Kore most of the time as I find it very comfortable. I did snap the plastic ratchet track on the far end when I bent it a bit too sharp. Eventually I will replace it, and thinking of trying out the Nexbelt.

The Bigfoot is VERY stiff, Great belt, and looks good too. Infuriates my hip bone if I wear it too many days in a row.

My GF has a Hanks (brown with pink stitching, her FAVORITE), and a black one from Crossbreed (that is the nice looking go to work belt).

ETA: For those that have a Nexbelt nylon, does the “tab” stay flat, or have a keeper of some sort? How about the leather one? The Kore has a rubber band type loop to hold the tail flat. Otherwise it rides out a bit and catches on things (for me anyway).

no keeper on mine - I just have it sized to tuck into the belt loop on the other side of the buckle. Since I mostly don’t wear any shirts tucked in, if I need to shift the buckle a little left or right to get the tail in the loop, I just do that.

My hubby doesn’t like a belt buckle center front so he wears his on the off-side hip about 10 o’clock and the tail tucks into the 9 o’clock belt loop.

I like the Bullhide Belt company. They’re very nice high quality belts.

There’s so much “gun gal” stuff on youtube you can laugh yourself silly for hours watching them and get a lot of good shopping ideas at the same time.

We do a lot of women/girls events so I surrendered to it all years ago.

As well you should @WildRose, as well you should. :+1:

I have a buddy with six daughters, at one time all were under 10 and they had 2 sets of twins.

It took a long time but I finally understood why there were so many pictures of him in skirts and aprons not to mention painted nails.
