For Serious Coffee-Hounds: A Brewing Tip For Better Coffee

I am a coffee enthusiast. Got a question for the professionals. In old school coffee pots I have heard cracking an egg in the pot was common practice. Was that to keep the coffee grounds in the pot, flavor or another reason?

We called it mud, or hunters coffee. :rofl:


Have mentioned this before, used to take C rats coffee puty it between cheek and gum. Make the hair on neck stand up. :us:


30 year Navy Master Chief here. All I need is coffee. No tricks. No foo-foo. Just good, black, strong enough to pour itself coffee. And as my brother @RAYMOND45 said, don’t touch my cup!
