I hit the wrong button - …I SWEAR that this “de-gassing” method makes coffee SMELL better! Another method to reduce bitterness and acidity is to add crumbled eggshells to the grounds. This is known as “cowboy coffee” - learned on the cattle trail, I reckon, and used in restaurants with the large urns they use. FYI

Good coffee doesn’t need that stuff. Try a nice Ethiopian or Kenyan coffee - black, no adulterants.

Yes. I love a nice tall, hot, strong, black Ethiopian. I also like Ethiopian coffee.

I have only had the coffee, so I can’t comment. I gather mocha (double-entendre, intended) does not count?
