Don’t overlook the Walther PDP series!!!
Yes grip angle is a little different but the fact you can basically use g19 parts, mags, holsters, etc for the G19 makes it nice. Its one of those different but close to being same typ of things
Personally, I’m a 1911 guy but if you haven’t tried it check out the CZ 75 PCR 9mm! You won’t believe how good it feels in your hand, great to shoot and carry!
Size that you are looking for and an excellent trigger - try the H&K VP9 A1 K. You will not be sorry.
FYI - I have a Glock 43X MOS and previously owned a Glock 26 and Glock 43. H&K trigger all day long.
@Glenn118 introduce yourself first
Getting slow in your old age Karacal. This thread has been going on for a day or 2….lol
My bad that was Glenn not the OP
Late to the funeral but early to the will reading.. ![]()
Welcome to the community!
Don’t fall into the “Glock Boyz” BS for every day carry ask any retired military special ops what they carry every day 90% will say the Sig 365 series of firearm is their choice!! 365,365xl,365xmacro much better firearm and easy to customize if you desire go to your range shoot them and others before you decide and if you have to consider price your not ready to carry!!! as well as a good trainer lined up!! if not, you are not ready for EDC!, I thought buy a firearm strap it on and I was safe That could get me or innocent people killed, Have you looked into insurance? The laws in your state and county ? Do it right or DON’T DO IT AT ALL!!
@Karacal will be along shortly to redirect you to the introductory thread! ![]()
I carry a 365, because of its capacity,…. But honestly I think I’m a better shot with my G43…
So,
Which should I carry?
HK CC9
Introduce yourself here
So those who can only afford a SCCY or Taurus aren’t ready to carry because the 365 might be out of their price range?
And their opinion matters in a civilian environment why? Just because they ‘were’ military specialists does not automatically make them specialists in civilian life.
@Will_B, You need to try an FN Reflex XL- lose the striker and gain a concealed hammer-fire with a great SA trigger. Comes with 15+1, AND 18+1 magazines.
I am not sure going to try to change their mind if the OP has already picked Glock
I have the 502,…. And wow do I hate,… hate, HATE the trigger on that gun!
It’s a nice gun, if they fix the overdraw on the trigger.
Sell me on the reflex.
How about the 503? ![]()
Haven’t shot one
I’ve never tried the 502, I use a Browning 1911-22 for more economical training. I had the Browning long before I knew the Reflex existed.
I picked the Reflex after dry firing every striker fire in that size class that were available at local stores. I initially thought I didn’t like the long reset, but found I don’t notice it when rapid firing.
I like my FNX45 tactical, in DA/SA the first trigger pull is heavy and long if decocked.
After that it’s SA only and nice short reset 5lb pull “glockish” trigger.
The 502 is similar, but it allows SIGNIFICANT overdraw!
It breaks,…. Then the trigger keeps traveling….almost 1/4 inch!
Then you have to release all the way to reset the trigger.
“Squeezel “BOOM” travel, travel, travel,… release!
Travel travel travel, “reset” travel. “BOOM”
