I doubt that 95% of self defense cases take a plea deal.
And especially self defense cases in which they have access to no limit defense expenses for an attorney of their choice.

I hear ya. If someone was found guilty by 12 jurors, that says a lot about what the heck happened.
Read the fine print of the policy before one signs up, it ain’t abandonment or dropped if the “act” was not covered in the first place.
Speaking to everyone, we do not know what others or the public think. I’ve some concerns about misconceptions, myths, and lack of education.
Having self-defense (SD) insurance is not murder insurance. Having self-defense insurance does "not"give someone permission to shoot someone.
Millionaire criminals can afford to hire good criminal defense attorneys/firm, and might even have them on “retainer”.
There’s nothing wrong with having two insurances, one for SD, and having a separate firm represent you for criminal defense (if one can afford it) if you ever make such a grave error or your SD insurance determines your act does not meet their policy criteria.
Or one can just pay for a different policy not affiliated with Delta or a USCCA. It’s your life.
I just happen to like and trust the USCCA and believe they meet my needs. One might have to take a serious look at themselves. Are they normally calm, able to control their anger, educated, and trained in the legalities of SD and the different levels of force.
Just remember who started you on the path of learning the rules, the laws, and continues to teach you how to act as a responsible “owner”. And keep them close to you, now and for the rest of your life.
Once when I testified in court to help someone, I heard the Judge say to someone, give him the phone number to the local Bar Association. Good. Because if you are not close to the USCCA, your’e gonna need a good lawyer.

The jury is given Jury Instructions, and it depends on the judge. Some Judges give wrong or misleading instructions. Juries can be nullified. Corruption in the justice system?
