I like that this site has a “Manufacturer Rebates” page.

That Springfield is the exact set I picked up, (edit, mine is olive drab finish not black) I actually kinda like that gun….. it’s no 1911, but not bad at all!

Edit to say that price is $60 less than I paid at sportsman’s whorehouse.

I’ve never shopped on that site, but the selections and prices look good.

Springfield Armory has deals every week.

I won’t buy from them again. I did that once and it was fine, but they screwed me over last time.

Can you share the details? I’ve had a few dealings with them and everything went smoothly.

Classic bait and switch.

They had an M&P 2.0 metal on sale for $599 ($390 off MSRP). I bought it, but got no confirmation. Contacted them and suddenly the price had changed and they “couldn’t find my order” at the previous price. I wasn’t going to pay and extra $170, so I had them cancel everything and decided they would never get my business again.

Sounds like they sold out and had to order another at their cost.

Which still isn’t right.

If he made the purchase during the discount time and in stock, the seller should make good on it.

Agreed but companies do not lose money on anything

Honest ones will when they make promises.

Thats not a good business model I agree, however, if you as a business owner allow more orders than you can fulfill its on you to make good on your offer.

Sure, put overstock on backorder, but don’t charge the customer more.

That is bad business.
