Do You Fly the American Flag?

I fly an American Flag at my house for 3 reasons.

  1. Because I’m proud to be an American and proud of my country.

  2. Because I served in the military and feel that all who serve take pride in seeing people flying flags to honor and show respect for the country they were willing to die for.

  3. Because everyone knows that houses that fly the American flag also have gun owners in them and bad guys want easier targets they won’t die trying to break into.

We have a collection, the main is US flag on a pole that is lit on the front of the house off the upper patio deck railing. We also have another by the front door and a US Navy flag. Inside we have a folded flag on the fireplace mantle, and I am hanging the last in my office off the wall with a Gadsden flag as well. My wife just bought a Trump flag that we’re about to put out front as well.

We’re proud to be Americans, aside from the reasons that we all share that have been listed. We are teaching our grandkids the Pledge of Allegiance as the schools don’t do that any longer.

All day everyday. Replace them as needed, but try to keep it looking pristine.

Always!!!
I missed the Vietnam draft by a whisker, and sad to say I never joined. If I could go back in time, I would have made a different decision. Many in my family served. We live in the greatest country with freedoms. So many have died to keep our freedom. We are patriots, and will remain.

I absolutely fly the American Flag at my home and do it with pride. I’m a U.S. Navy Veteran and then worked for a defense contractor for 30 years. It should show that “We The People” are the government, not those in Washington who believe that they know what is best for us as they should be representing us. Instead, the majority of them are selfserving, egotistical, narcissists that want to destroy our Constitutional Republic. I teach the Constitution so that we can pass on to the generations (present and future) how and why our Founding Fathers intended our country is be governed. I am a very strong believer in the Second Amendment and all that is embodied in our Constitution. Several people that live on my street display the American Flag proudly. We all as proud Americans should show our patriotism and gratitude for those who gave their lives and those who currently defend the colors (Red, White, & Blue) of our glorious flag. May she always fly to remind us of our true and God given liberties and rights. God Bless America

The military isn’t for everyone. There are plenty of people who joined or where drafted that wish they’d of done, or were able to do different. I don’t Believe that makes them any less of a patriot. It was a great fit for me and a decision the was the best one I’ve prolly ever made. Joined at 17 had to have my parents sign the doc back in 87. So I got to choose my fate! Plenty of great patriots who didn’t join the service. Just my opinion.

I fly the American Flag 24/7. I did not serve, failed the physical, but I love this country. I support all who serve and have served. I fly the Christian flag under my American flag. I comply with all the standards of respect for our symbol of freedom, although I will never lower my flag to half mast for a liberal or any others attempting to bring socialism into our society. God bless America!!!
