This issue was reported several times. My current fix - Mozilla Firefox.
It would Be nice to see a category on training that is not primarily focused around firearms. Things like conflict resolution, lockdown procedures in a house of worship or business, situational awareness, radio etiquette for business or house of worship, things of that nature.
If anyone from USCCA is monitoring this, please pass this information along to the web team.
The reason the topics are appearing blank is that DIV ID ember24 is styled with display: none !important. Editing or altering this style using development tools will display the conversation.
Somewhere in the web code, it is failing to do this reliably. I imagine it was added for a more pleasant display of the web page to the users, with the intent to be altered once the web page was fully rendered.
Unfortunately threads are styled as “none important” for USCCA and I doubt anyone is monitoring it …
That is the mod that most often comes here.
I have been facing this issue for a while now too. I tried Mozilla (on it now), the issue continues. I hardly ever come online here anymore due to this error.
A lot of sites are incompatible with different browsers.
My biggest obstacle right now is the donation widget on FPC & NAGR say I’m not human and won’t take my money!
Thats pretty good AI saying you’re not human
Is there a fix for the screen glitching while logged into “community”. Some days I only log in for info on the home page and to see the giveaway. Many days the community feature is frustratingly unusable because of glitching.
Using Chrome as my browser.
As I sit here currently (late) there is no glitching. Have recently had fiber optic installed and as previous it still has the glitching problem. Is there a traffic/usage problem? Mornings and early evenings seems worst.
I view on multiple devices and never see it. Maybe you have a hardware problem?
I hope you have already found out… this is nothing but futile discussion…
Glitching here, glitching there, Chrome, Firefox, Wolf, Edge, Vivaldi, Safari, Opera. Windows, Linux, MacOS…
It is glitching not because of our hardware, software, Internet speed… it is glitching because of forum developers’ lack of internets … hopefully not a lack of knowledge… however I still do not get it how come nothing was done since the problem was reported long, long, long time ago…
Looks like automatic flagging is more important than stability of the system… so, what I suggest is to just enjoy this Forum in the condition that works for admins not for Users.
Don’t be angry and / or frustrated…
Just be happy…
Likely because the forum is a freebie. Most pay for the protection and training.
You might be onto something. This morning the community page refused to load. I then logged into membership and store with no problem at all when potential sales are involved.
Maybe they’ll add a fee for community usage and fix the problem? (sarc)
Mine has been blinking also. And it seems to been just on the community
Perhaps we should start to name this Forum a Blinking Community?
When any of you post a brand “new” topic, how long does it normally take to post/appear?
In the past, it was instant for me, however I noticed recently - after I submitted one, an instant message read that the Moderators needed to review it. It’s been a moment, so the next time I log in, I can check to see if it got posted. Mainly, I wanted to correct/edit a spelling error, but looking forward to any experiences/replies to that topic.
Just thought it was odd, because when I reply within a post, it instantly appears, so I’m not sure why brand new posts require that they read them for “pre” approval.
Thoughts on that too?
The only topic that needs “preapproval” is Miscellaneous.
I never post on Miscellaneous.
The forum software should automatically keep track of how many flags a person initiates, and ALSO how many flags are leveled against a certain member. After a certain level, that person should be barred from the topic, or barred from seeing the member’s post.
If posts OFFEND you, maybe you should go to a place with a safe space.
ALso, new members should have to wait a year until they can flag. If they’re real people and stick it out, great. If they’re just trolls, they don’t stick around long.
