Annoying forum users with mismanagement featuring constant thread shutdowns may be done intentionally to make them give up using it in frustration and go away. Why should USCCA expend any effort to administer this forum correctly? They probably consider it a thorn in their side and regret starting it. It doesn’t promote business and generates no revenue. The opposite is true. Moderators have to bill work hours to make sure users follow the rules. They have to make sure no one stirs up a hornets nest that will reflect poorly on them and possibly open them to liability.

Maybe they don’t value the dollar! I’m a paying member, in particular, non members should not hold the reins over this gun community!
However, if this keeps up. The power of the purse, can win!

One other forum I am a member of has 3 members who have accepted the role of moderator. They are professionals in the field the forum focuses on. They volunteer their time and block trolls so the owner of the site is free to pursue his business. They are not perfect but they are responsive which is something that appears to be missing here. The arrangement is a success when compared with the lack of consistency on this forum which promotes confusion and mistrust.
Members on the forum who contribute to USCCA’s coffers through membership have often suggested that there should be a section for USCCA members. Why are the administrators ignoring them? It ain’t rocket science. Get it together USSCA.
