Oh, the ever-allusive comfortable holster. There are legends out there about the ONE, but we are ever searching for it as our drawers fill with unfulfilled desires for a holster that is perfect. We choose the gun then we have to find the holster for it. Kind of like buying a car then deciding where to build the garage and what size of garage to have. Meaning of that part is your body shape and your size dictates where to wear what holster. If you have a root beer belly, then appendix carry is out of the question. Then you have inside the waistband or outside. The problem I have found is grabbing my gun when it is against my side but that is me. You will be different maybe. There are a lot of different factors that a person must adjust to, to have the proper holster. What works for one may not work for the next. So, its your body and it is your problem, or not.

LOL! You described me to a tee! I actually have a drawer full of holters! I can’t do inside the wasteband. I actually have had bruises from the inside wasteband holsters! I also like the harness holsters as well.

I have found that carrying a smaller 9 mm rather than the full size .45 begins the make a difference. The Sig Sauer P 365 XL is small and can be wore with comfort and good concealment. My Kimber Ultra carry 2 is just a little fatter than the P365 and is easy to carry too.

I recently had a warranty issue with my holster (piece on the back broke). That would probably seem like a reason to complain. It isn’t was probably my fault. So anyways I went to get it replaced. They stopped making the version I had with the light/optic combination I use. So onto the ever revolving hamster wheel of finding a replacement holster I went.

Long story short, I wound up buying a new light ($200) so that I could get the same type of holster I had been using w/the new light configuration. It allows me to carry the full sized, double stack Glock 41 w/ light and optic that I prefer. It’s completely comfortable and I can carry it year round in total concealment even in shorts and tank top.

So I highly recommend Werkz. YMMV.

I find my holsters for my two EDC Barettas comfortable. I believe the trick is to have a good belt. The holsters are similar - FBI cant, but from two different companies for two different guns - a 9mm subcompact and a .45 cal. I have worn both all day without any issues, though the heat in the Summer in the South does involve a lot of sweating, and the leather holsters can get wet. I do breakdown all parts. clean and lube when that happens.
