Ive noticed other training organizations that appear to have some really good live fire reality based programs. Is this approved or frowned on by USCCA and could those classes apply toward future advanced USCCA training.

USCCA is not the only training facility. It is one of many. The fact is that at this moment USCCA might be the most nationwide recognized organization.
I still stand for NRA, being NRA Instructor.
A lot of my fellow Instructions are running classes for USCCA and NRA, following rules established by both organizations.
I always encourage students to attend many different training facilities / organizations to learn as much as possible, gaining the best from each class and forgetting stuff that doesn’t apply to you or you are not feeling comfortable with.
I’m not sure if other organization’s classes apply towards future USCCA training, hopefully one of Community’s USCCA Instructions answers this question soon.
