Hello USCCA community I’m opening this thread to have friendly conversation with those who choose so i have opened this for people to post a pic of the firearm the CC (Concealed carry) or the one they whish to CC I personally am going to carry a 1911A1 full size (5inch) because i have always loves the 1911 its a firearm that has not changed in over 100 years and always been reliable also if for WHAT ever reason someone gets that fire arm away from me (i carry a knife as well) it is not always easy to figure out how to fire one if you have never held one.

Of course its loaded with my range load out right now when i carry i will on my shoulder and will be loaded with JHP (Jacket Hollow Point)

A 1911 is NEVER a bad choice. I’ll post a pic of what’s on my nightstand today in a few minutes.

Just took this, current favorite EDCs:
- SIG P365 with flat trigger upgrade and Wilson Combat XL frame.
- Glock 48 MOS with a trigger job and upgraded sights.
Both loaded with latest generation with 147gr HP ammo. Light is a Surefire Stiletto Pro light.

i understand FULLY why people love glocks and rely on them so much and i can not call any of them a bad firearm by no means me personally i dont like striker fire firarms but both of those are Very nice! with the firearm i showed before (the 1911) i have to do a bit of work the mag realease is a bit tighter than i like i wanna get a ring hammer on it and a few finger front of the grip though i am trying to keep as close to GI as possible cause… lets face it the GI 1911 is just a sexy gun!! lol

Oh I don’t discriminate! Like I said those are just the pistols I carry the most as EDC. My Sunday go-to-church gun is a 1911 Wilson Combat CQB because I could potentially have a 50+ yard shot and while I’d do that with either one of these with the WC I can do it MUCH easier and faster. And I don’t care what anyone says, a well placed 180gr +P Gold Dot will make a single shot statement like nothing else will.
I REALLY like your gun! I’m a BIG 1911 fan in just about any configuration and I can be found with an occasional Kimber, Colt, Dan Wesson or if I’m feeling really jiggy that day a dressed up custom 1942 Remington Rand “accurized” ex-GI gun polished and reblued to Colts old blue black finish on my person at any given time. That sucker lands one shot over the other all day long

My EDC until next renewal when I could update my permit and add a full size 1911 and maybe, a compact too.
