My EDC is CZ 75BD and 97BD- I rotate- Summer I carry My CZ 75bd and Winter my 97BD. I will be taking my CZ 97BD .45 out of the rotation because it is now Cajunized. I will use it for competition shooting.
I am pretty excited to EDC my 1911 (.45)- I feel it is safer than most striker pistols. I have a custom-made holster from Ronin Leather. I have150 rounds already downrange, a mix of target and defense, ammo. So far no malfunction. I am confident I can start to carry when my holster comes in. I bought a few Wilson Combat mags also.–my 1911-Magnum Research aka Desert Eagle 1911
Winter is my EMP4, summer is M&P shield both shooting Fed LEs I only change when I swap to shorts. If I am in jeans/pants, I stay with the 4" 1911. I prefer it over the shield but the reduced weight is much better in shorts for me.
I’m A big fan of SA forged steel pistols @Buddha-In-The-Sun . I love the EMP4 and my Range Officer. Grats on the new Ronin. My biggest problem with SA is they keep putting out the 1911s so fast I can’t possibly keep up without more stimulus checks!
Maybe not obvious, but that is an EMP4 9mm in my photo above. You are going to love it! It does have a 6 o’clock sight picture, so you might group a little high at first, depending on what you are used to.
I really can’t say anything bad about the holster, it is really comfortable and holds everything in close and tight to the body. The cant makes drawing with strong hand very smooth, but off hand drawing is a little challenging, just like every other holster I have , most of it is bad shoulders.
