Serious question; how can an exec order over rule the constitution? It makes since that the dumbo-craps would try to do it that way. With all the 2A groups out there it would be a hard fight to keep it in place. I would think, don’t mean it will happen, that taking white out to the constitution is an impeachable offense.

Presidents and governors have been using executive orders like crazy these days to override the constitution. Student loan forgiveness is a perfect example. Sign the order knowing it’s unconstitutional, then wait. The order will be enforced until it’s made its way through court. Eventually it’ll land as high in the court system as it can, where it’ll get struck down. Now, the offending executive branch goes back and slightly changes the order and throws it out there again. Round and round we go.
There’s absolutely nothing at all for the guilty heads of executive branches to lose. The worst that can happen is their order is thrown out and they try again. In the meantime, they can force compliance.
Until individuals can be put in prison for violating the constitution, it’ll keep happening. FJB still hasn’t given up on student loan forgiveness, he’s just doing it in small enough bites that it makes it too hard to stop him.

True. But an Executive Order like that, confiscating guns, will raise eyebrows big time. There will be an immediate uproar. Rich lawyers will be everywhere having tons of fun with it.

Good input and exactly why we need more constitutionalists in our gubment and judiciary. If one of them could be made an example of what will happen they would stop at least for a while.

Voted today.
Was expecting a line out the door and halfway around the block. Poll workers said it’s been busy all day. I beat the wife there by a few minutes. She had to wait in line a bit. I’m guessing right now that line is super long.
Now to get the rest of the state of PA to vote the way the locals do where I live.
