Hello and thank you for spying on my profile! As you can see my name is Tyler and I am an employee at Delta Defense. I am here in the community to help expand everyone’s thoughts on different topics.

I am sure you are still wondering why I might be qualified to further expand these conversations. My intention with this About Me section is to show you where my experience comes from. That way you can choose the value my comments add to the discussions. To start off my passions are Guns, Gear, and being prepared. I will break each one of these down for you below.

I first shot a gun when I was around the age of 4. Fast forward to now and I have lost count of how many I have. I wanted to involve firearms in my education as well which is why I have a degree in Firearms Technology and Sales of Military weapons.

Gear always goes along with firearms. If you carry daily, how difficult would it be to do so without a holster? I am constantly studying the latest and greatest products that come out. Either they fix a problem or they improve upon a current system. Being prepared does not just mean carrying a firearm. This could mean having a first aid kit in your daily driver. I always want to be ready to take care of the ones I love should something terrible happen. I also want to have baby wipes should a mess need to be cleaned up. It’s the simple everyday things that just help your day go by easier. Hence why my truck is a built-out overland rig that I can be self-sufficient off the grid in.
When it comes to my background in the industry I do have a few things to note as well. First I competed in and placed 1st at nationals in the CMP Scholastic Action Shooting Program Steel Challenge for Pistol, Rifle, and Red dot Rifle classes. I also compete in UML Multi Gun/3 Gun competitions. This includes firearms such as the Ar15, shotgun, and pistol all into one match.

My Current work experience also has increased my knowledge base as I work at Delta Defense and Fireline Shooting and Training Center. I am an instructor and help develop new classes such as our new rifle courses. I also am the one to-go-to when it comes to details about the firearms that are offered in the store as well.

If you want a look into my personal life I will tell you that I currently carry either a Glock 19 or a Sig P365. Both are outfitted with a Trijicon RMR, weapon light, compensator, raised iron sights, and enhanced slide serrations. I want to have every advantage possible God forbid the need arise. Why do I carry you ask? It is simple, I want to protect the ones that I love around me as well as those who may not be able to. Therefore I am always prepared and ready.
