Iām afraid thereās gonna be more of this to come. I hope not. Theyāre are a lot of people, that you can carry a logical conversation with, that are pissed off . No doubt we are a divided country. Iām sure left news media is having a field day with this.

All news is treating this like a an attack on democracy. People need to objectively look at what people who have supported the republican party have been told to put up with. Theyāve watched cities burn in the name of peaceful protests. The felt their voice was slipping away and wanted to be heard. That is 100% American.
Yes some windows were broken and officers injured (minor injuries with unknown causes) the only true violence was done by a Law Enforcement Agent killing an unarmed woman.
And too keep this in the realm of firearms every picture Iāve seen has had Law Enforcement aiming guns at unarmed people with their fingers ON the trigger

Many people may view the people storming the capital as heroes but I fear the majority of Americans will view this as the same mob rule tactics that Antifa has been getting away with. Often who is right or wrong does not matter in times like these. Authoritarians, be they blue or red leaning, love opportunities like this. If cooler heads do not prevail I fear we will all lose.

Iāll reserve my judgement on this. The optics are not good at all. My coworkers have shown me IG posts of folk inside the Capitol building, even a guy at the podium as if heās gonna give a SOTU address. I saw this BREAKING NEWS earlier and I could not believe it. 
I have more to say but Iāll hold my tongue for now.

I will refrain from passing judgement on this or any shooting till all the facts are out. I do not envy the position those officers were put in. If the officer was legally defending their self or others then I hope they are exonerated. If they unlawfully shot an innocent person then I hope they receive the appropriate punishment.

My cousin who taught me Tae Kwan Do (was nationally ranked in the PKA in the 70ās is why I never had that problem.) My biological male donor learned not to mess with me after I hit 16.

I think that everyone there showed remarkable restraint, whether they were protecting the place, or just showed up for the event. It could have gone a LOT worse. (I am reminded of a lovely quote I discovered on this forum, Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.)
What I donāt get is how the folks who traveled to DC from all over are domestic terrorists on the news, and the folks who lit their own cities on fire are peaceful protestors. How does one argue with delusional people?
