You are right sir. And I am optimistic it’s just difficult to be. But it sure isn’t going to be a politician to bring this country back to what we know it should be. So that leaves people like you and me and the rest of the folks on here. We are in deep trouble and I just hope we can still turn some things around.

The president’s oath reads: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
It continues to amaze me, how “all” politicians swear an oath to uphold the constitution but instead try to destroy it and nothing is done. If they were removed immediately for breaking their oath, we wouldn’t be in this situation.

It’s that key word, “EXECUTE”, 1. to carry out; accomplish. 2. to perform or do. 3. to inflict capitol punishment on; put to death according to law. 4. to murder; assassinate. 5. to produce in accordance with a plan or design… 
Looked up the meaning on the dictionary. No wonder the old, delirious, resident madman is attacking the US Constitution.

You ignore the fact that the UN for all intents and purposes is financed by the US. The force needed to disarm Americans, the way the UN is today, would have to be drawn mostly from American Troops. Many, me included, just aren’t sure American GI’s will turn on their friends and families.

Agreed @Mike164 . I had posted elsewhere that our Troops are still a very patriotic and conservative group by and large. I only retired in 2014 and still know many that are actively serving.
They would still know an illegal or unconstitutional order when they heard it. They would either refuse the orders or even actively support the civilian patriots. Sure, there will be some who will violate their oaths and turn on the citizens. There are always the type of people who use such times to seek more rank and power. Those traitors will find that the bulk of their formations will not comply.
The UN? They are the last group I would worry about. @Mike164 is right. Without US troops and leadership the UN is very effete and has little real combat power.
Not all of our young people are bad either. Come out to the country and you will see some solid young Americans. They are courageous young patriots who are steady and will do their part. They are the young ones who still join the military to this day.

Last week the amphibian pundit CDR Salamander had some tart words for Joint Chiefs chairman Mark Milley. General Milley recently held forth on the Ukraine war, maintaining that “a big lesson learned” from the Russian invasion is “the incredible consumption rates of conventional munitions” even in a limited regional conflagration. A war in Korea or the Taiwan Strait would consume far more.

Sal traces this “gobsmacking” statement from America’s top-ranking uniformed military officer to faulty wargaming, and there’s doubtless truth to that. Any system of logic is founded on assumptions that can be neither proved nor disproved within the system. They’re taken as self-evident, much like the “givens” from which students try to work proofs in grade-school algebra or geometry.
Assumptions are powerful things. If they’re deeply flawed, a game based on them tends to produce results incongruent with reality. Garbage in, garbage out.

hate to say it but pretty sure we would face african, chinese, north korean, and maybe russian troops…
the UN wont care where they get the troops from… and all the countries mentioned are part of the UN
oh almost forgot… muslims as well… might even see some cartel types getting into it…
not that long ago the Iranian republican guard we brought into to share a base with Venezuela troops
and they will NOT care about our constitutional rights… in the least…
been thinkin for some time the way the PTB are acting they want a rebellion and then call in the UN
