We do, it is called flight pre-screening, or for those willing to pay, TSA-Pre. What’s one more set of finger-prints and a government probe going to hurt? ![]()
I say let’s ban all stupid government agencies, people, and regulations. Granted this means we then will have to rebuild everything and anything that is government related but I think it way way past time to do this. And it’s obvious the vote is not going to help us anymore.
I have many friends who have suggested the reset button on government. The devil you know…so I don’t agree.
The problem isn’t that the plan isn’t still right, it is that current players won’t follow it and instead focus on their own agenda. “The people” aren’t supposed to let that happen, but in this case, they actually asked for it. Regardless of the vote count and how one feels about it all, 1/2 of the country wants these knuckleheads “running” things for them, based on hollow promises.
As Battlestar Galactica so rightfully said, this has all happened before and will all happen again.
The two parties used to be much closer together. To differentiate and fire up their base, they each have moved, not so slowly, further apart. Now they’re both radical entitites, so there is no longer a good answer. If we had a true constitution following, people helping (but getting them to help themselves), take care of our own while we fit into the world options…it would be better for everyone.
Actually, they have become communist revolutionaries. You should have noticed that when they began calling people like us insurrectionists. (read Rules for Radicals)
There’s not a single elected politician I would trust to draft a new constitution.

We only want to re-instate the current one that has worked fairly well for over 200 years.
Bingo. Not rewrite the rules but instead get people in government who want to follow them.
Interesting view from people who can’t tell you what year the War of 1812 started.
1811, in my neck of the woods.
We don’t need a new Constitution, we need new politicians and possibly a third party.
Edit: I take that back… The current Constitution needs an amendment adding term limits to congressmen and senators. I’m thinking eight years is plenty.
EIGHT YEARS??? I was thinking more like a month after they are sworn in, one wrong move against the law abiding majority, and it should be EIGHT YEARS in solitary confinement! They are put there to represent the people, the only ones they are representing is big tech and media! There is only ONE way to stop their ignorant views, (how many times does this need to be said) forget “stop the steal”, STOP THE MONEY!
Remember this, it’s not taught any more, it’s called history!
China has been screwing with us since 1773!
And they all have stock in firearm and ammunition manufacturers
And remove all of their personal security, unless solely self-funded, during and after their term.
Constitutional Convention/Amendments too risky unless God intervenes. Too many dumbed down crazy people out there!
So this happened today.
CNN: Three people killed, two injured, in shooting at gun store in Louisiana.
■■■■ like this is just going to encourage Biden and the Dems. People need to chill the hell out.
Good chance the mass shooter was stopped by civilians.
Which people are to talking about? The attacker or the defenders?
Attackers. News like this is just going to encourage our legislature to pass gun reform. If somebody gets pissed off, keep your gun holstered and walk the hell away.
@Robert_M3 , that is what the story states. This provides more detail. The store has a indoor range and also CCW classes.
Michael Mayer, an executive at the Jefferson Gun Outlet, said the store was attacked by a man who had walked inside and been asked by the store’s compliance officer to unload his firearm before entering.
“He became agitated by the request and pulled his gun out of his pants and started firing,” Mr. Mayer said in an email. “Our armed and trained employees, as well as some armed permitted customers, returned fire and eliminated the threat.”
Tyrone Russell, 21, said he had been taking a class in the store in the hopes of getting his concealed carry permit when the shooting happened.
“All of a sudden, all I hear is a whole lot of gunshots,” which he said he had initially assumed were coming from the indoor firing range.
He said staff members had told the students to go into a corner, “and everybody started panicking.”
Two instructors ran out of the class to see what was going on, and he heard one of them scream: “Get down! Put the gun down!” That was followed by more gunshots, he said.
I am also quite sure we will be reading comments in MSM stories where the antis are rejoicing in the death of law-abiding citizens due to their being firearm owners.
