Just seeking opinions on what high capacity 9mm concealable pistols people favor, and why. Thank you for your time.

Keep in mind @DeeB , these would be personal preference.

My favorite is M&P9 (17rd)… Why? Because it’s left handed friendly, fits my hands and shots accurately fast enough. No other reason.

High capacity, and concealable… Sig 365XL comes to mind, or if you want a few more rounds, Glock 19 or 45.

Or a Glock 17. I have successfully carried that in an underarm holster - even in warm weather. It holds 17+1.

I’m with @Jerzees as far as the M&P. But I prefer the M&P 2.0 compact which I have the 4” barrel. You can also get it in 3.6” barrel. They come with 2 15 round magazines.

I have a Stoeger STR 9. It is comparable to a Glock 19. 15 +1

Price, performance and availability led me to it.

Liked it so much bought a 2nd one.

Sure like the new Shield Plus…kydex holster at 4 o’clock. Slim & trim…the gun that is. Owner…well, not so much.

STI DVC carry, 16+1. But I’m a single action 1911 or 2011 snob.

M&P 2.0, followed by FN 509, then the Glock IMHO. If the FN was more widely available, and a little less expensive , I’d give It the top spot in the 9mm world.

Also, a consolation prize to the Beretta 92FS.

This is an impossible question, akin to asking what is the height, waist, shape of hand and type of clothes people favor. Factors deciding your choice of concealable weapon are your body, lifestyle and wardrobe.
A safe bet would be to start with the small-ish guns (less capacity, sorry). So, probably Ruger LC9, Kahr CM9, Glock 43. A step up in size is SW Shield 9 (which has higher capacity Plus version), Glock 26 and Springfield Hellcat.

I carry the Springfield Hellcat. 11 plus 1, and 13 plus 1. Can shoot it as well as my XD Duty gun. Its a bit snappy, but controllable if you grip it. Love the new rear “U” sight. Can get on target fast, just wish it was tritium like the front…good luck

I carry the Taurus PT709 Slim. It’s comfortable and easily concealed with little weight. I am ambidexterous and shoot left handed so this is more convenient for me. I also carry extra mags so round capacity is still there. Lots of practice live and dry fire. Just what fits me. Be blessed you all and be safe.

I have an MP Shield in 9mm and a Sig P320 Compact. They are both great. I carry the Shield all the time and the Sig is my home defender.

I’ll throw my opinion out there which is the same as others in this thread.

Smith & Wesson M&P or Sig P365

I have one or two choices, mostly depending on clothing. Either my Sig P365 with a 12 round mag, or IWI Masada with 17 rounds plus red dot optic. Either way I feel I have more than enough capacity, plus I carry a spare mag for both.
