The TREDY is a French design, a straight-line maker that resembles a hurricane lantern, but it’s designed to ONLY work with its permanent, reuseable filter - it will NOT ACCEPT a #2 cone paper filter! At $40, this clunker is a total waste of $$! The GEVI has a FIXED swingout brew basket you can’t clean, and fills from at back of the machine through a tiny lid - at $31, it’s another clunker to pass by. FYI!
