Could be but in the end every time you discuss feelings it tends to become a circular discussion because they are specific to an individual. What I consider a “sense of accomplishment” constitutes “pride” to someone else and “arrogance” to the neighbor. No one can see into another person’s spirit and mind, so we all assign our own insecurities, prejudices and perspective to someone else’s actions without ever truly understanding their perspective and motivation.
That’s what makes life and relationships so tricky.

I almost had a hart attack because of a garden snake. I pay the cats to stay around my home and they take care of snakes and mouses . No problem . I have cats on my home right now . John 292. I have seen here in Texas five different snakes under a tarp. And I had flipped over the tarp. And I hit the ground and . Debbie ann pulled back the tarp . And there was . One snake that was so long that it was laced up a down so I could not even GESS how long it was and a copper head . AND A RED YELLOW . And black . And . I was on the ground looking straight at them because Debbie ann was helping me . I did the fastest push up. Even the corp. would have been proud!! And I got up so fast that they were as freaked out as me . And I just watched them all go there way. And brother . That one snake was so long had I done anything SENCE I could not see his head . He would have gotten me . What Is. So funny . I . Knew they let me go . And I . Did the same . It was a sight. And the long snake was so long it was under my fence. And still in my yard,!! BROTHER . That was a wake up moment for some one that is afraid of snakes. And I never was afraid . Of snakes till the Mohave desert 
. And I had. A brother . Get bit. And was Dead in less then ten minutes. And yes the dam snake was a Mohave. Green. Rattle snake. And SENCE I never seen the snake .

I think pride is a very misunderstood word. That is what makes it so dangerous. Billy Joel said I would rather laugh with the sinners, then cry with the Saints. I would rather laugh with people than at them. When I think of pride, I think that I am better than people not equal to them. If I do something wrong, I take the blame. If I do something good, I give the glory to God. I think pride takes that glory from God and tries to give it to myself. I didn’t create myself God created me. Thank God because I would have messed myself up pretty bad. God saved me. I remind myself of this every day. God reminds me of this every time I feel proud and something bad happens. I am not saying one of us is right and one of us is wrong. I don’t want either one of us to be wrong. Thank God Jesus gave us the ability to say we are both right.
